Bummer how many rounds through it before failure.

It's like a thin piece of metal bent along a crease one time its fine and leave it there it wont break.Bend it back and forth and eventually it will snap.Leaving it loaded is like bending the thin metal once and compressing the spring over and over is like bending the thin metal multiple times.

I know there,s allot of debate on whether the piston rod needs to be loose or rigid. However it seems to me that it being loose the point of pressure is exerted to the outer rim of the carrier when it pivots back and forth .If it has a tighter fit it could disperse the shock over a greater area of the carrier s threaded hole. I put thread locker around mine and let it run down in it by wiggling it and let it set and cure and no wiggle at all .I've shot man

my saiga shoots fast enough in semi auto. I can shoot faster than the AA-12.

Will was each barrel firing at a time per a revolution or were they just spinning in full auto?

I've heard it is a remington 1100 type system. But I don't know from first hand account.

It's not that it can't be done, just that it would be difficult because to retain the current mag release you would need to heavily modify the Saiga mags in addition to a whole new receiver. The other option is to make a new receiver with a mag release exactly like the S12, which defeats the purpose of this gun. It was a rhetorical question no offense .I think that this feature would appeal to saiga owners with a butt load of mags.It could have a slanted magwell tapered from the front to the rear with a slide bar mag release. He mentions an aluminum lower receiver in the works .Hell i

How about a lower receiver that is compatible with saiga mags. Can this be done?

Maybe we can see them with pistol grip installed from the factory since its considered sporting now.It would probably be cheaper to manufacture because the plastic grip would cost less than the stock linkage trigger group. But the savings would not be passed on probably because it would be more coveted.
