  1. Yeah I love em, and check this thread out
  2. DPH on my S12< with folding mech and 1/2" shoulder rubber= perfect length & great sling attachments on the stock and folder! I love this arrangement because I can fold it for in home defense and easily maneuver thru tight quarters! especially since having the barrel shortened! heres the S12's : here's both: DPH on my SGL21-66 with ex. block and cheek riser. No folder and no pad on this one on purpose, Its the perfect length this way and its rock solid! - could use the stock as a back up weapon for sure! and here's the SGL's :
  3. Hey, is it just me or does that just sound like fun?! especially FA with tons of drums and other "stuff"!!! but I thought the factory firing pins seemed inadequate to begin with and switched to the Tromix one, figured this way I've got the original as a spare.
  4. I actually drilled two additional gas ports forming an X and later went back and opened all five up, and I'm still not over-gassed, actually it still wont cycle that $4.96 stuff, but it never fails with anything high brass, so cheapest for me right now is the $10.97 #4 federal high brass, and there's no damage to anything except what I point at Theres just so many factors but so many ways to tune and adjust and so many options of how to! ~wow I just had an I my S12 moment, big time!~ -V.V.H.-

I've been using an XPS-0 on my SGL21 with a x3 magnifier but I've never got to shoot anywhere with enough distance that I could try the magnifier yet. But anyway its been running on the same energizer cr123a since I bought it, and I leave it on most of the time so the 4 hour timer shuts it off. So I wouldnt be concerned with battery life. However unless your shooting slugs max distance all the time I dont see any real usefulness for one on a shotgun, but I dont hunt or anything so idk, my S12 is HD and fun so "point and click" is sufficient.
  7. I havent heard anything on these for a while, anybody been using one that can give a review? I also wondered if there was any projected ETA on the ambi-release version?
  8. just my opinion: Winchesters are the worst and Federals the best
  9. I couldnt duct tape it so that was the next logical step
  10. One of mine came off once with loctite so I filled it with super glue and it hasn't budged since! That was on my S12, the one on my SGL hasn't required any more than the loctite. I gotta add that I love the things!
  11. I've been considering options on this myself. I dont have a draco yet but I was thinking about a permanent suppressor just long enough to get the 16 so it would only cost one tax stamp. But Ive been trying to find out if 16" barrel integrally suppressed would be better than an added on suppressor? and if so maybe not even starting with a draco but shortening the gas tube either way. Your Drac is pretty sweet already, but I like the top pic but with a triangle folder instead! never tried one but how are under-folders? really hard to install one probly?
  12. can you put up side by side pics? or at least specs

    Lights ?

heres a good thread on that - here but Ive been using my Fenix (as seen on post #5 of that thread) for some time and I'm still lovin it big time!
  14. Dude, that is crazy awesome! I was undecided on my next project but now I'm convinced! You did a fantastic job on that thing!!! You gotta put up a video of it firing in the dark!
  15. I didnt like the AFG at first but I had trouble with VFG getting in the way of reloading. (especially with 40 rounders) I decided to wait and I find it is growing on me ie. feeling more comfortable and natural. I'm glad because I immediately liked the aesthetics of it-certainly not a priority just an added bonus. Only thing I dont like is that it takes my entire lower rail and theres nowhere for mounting a pressure switch. Overall a wonderful inovation and I'm looking forward to future models! As far as its positioning, its not like I had any choice but I dont think I would put it an
