Just got this back from CGW. Just a basic conversion...nothing fancy, but it runs great.

I finally got off the fence and bought my S-12 when Centerfire Systems ran a sale awhile back. I have a few AKs and wanted a shotgun in AK config. Only problem is my Saiga is a "vodka special" and is still at CGW for warranty work. I'm looking forward to getting her back.

C2 is the name of the range where I do most of my shooting, hence C2Shooter.

Welcome from a fellow noob and first time S-12 owner. I got the 24" model...two gas ports...standard 5 rd factory mag and two AGP 10rd mags. My gun doesn't cycle anything but 00 buck, so it's going to CGW for adjustment/repair. I will ask them to do a standard conversion while they're at it.

I decided to tackle this "Vodka Special" myself. I followed the excellent instructions and got everything together and lined up the first try. Only two gas port holes on my S-12 but at least now they're visible through the opening in the gas block. I'll take her to the range tomorrow and see if it solved the FTE issue. It might need another hole in the gas port, but that will be a job for Cadiz Gun Works. Thanks JeffD for the info!

Here's my new S12 that has a FTE problem. Can you guess why? Serial number is H0840xxxx. I need to send this back for warranty repair. Would someone please point me in the right direction? TIA
