  1. Wow... these bullpups look pretty damned good.. Any of you got any video of the weapons performing??
  2. want a set of BFgoodies for my Yota4Runner..

  3. Botasky1

    .22 AK

i dont think russians like the .22 lr ... one would think they would consider it repeat of .223...
  4. I think the key word here is unconverted . Your options for many things are limited when the gun stays in its sporter condition. I also refuse the use of anything but a single point on my guns and its mainly because its how I was trained to operate. And I don't like the idea of having a rifle stuck to my body just waiting to be grabbed onto by someone other than me. The drill into the receiver sounds like it might work well for your described problem, or convert all of em and use ACE stocks with side sling points.
  5. wow... I am real surprised to hear these wont co witness..?? even with an Ultimak setup? I mean even if some get lucky with their Saiga variance, why wouldn't they produce a sight thats able to co witness.. and thats still odd considering the sight looks damned small enough to co witness. The one I purchased was shipped yesterday so Ill be able to do some reviewing by next week.
  6. Well rite now Im putting together a draco, and currently have the Midwest quad rail setup. The top rail is damned close to the gas tube, closer than the UTG, but not as close as the Ultimak. Im not really to concerned with co-witness but the microdot is a small unit so maybe I'll be lucky and it'll work well, with or without the co-witness. Ive heard buzz around that the AMD65 Ultimak setup will work with a draco, but Ive also seen some that are typical Ak sized tubes cut down to fit a draco. I dont think Im willing to try cutting down the ultimak, but would consider the AMD65 if it really d
  7. Just picked up one of these microdot sights. I guess its an Aimpoint clone.. seems to be big with the AR crew and was wondering if anyone else has any use of this red dot. Maybe some range time with it?
  8. Train train train my man. The more you pick up and point that rifle the lighter it will feel. I dig the magpul rail covers too
  9. the front on these guns for some reason always trick me into M16A1... minus the shorter front sight block. Oh and I like the original stock better than that collapsable you put on it. Paint job looks cool tho!
  10. screw is to attach the original SaigaX39 sling swivel. I actually used it for an extra tight fit of the rail on the barrel for security. It worked nicely and held up tightly, considering without it the rail was a bit loose and wobbly towards the front.
  11. That EOD utility bag is sweet. You could store a few mags and maybe 2 handhelds for under the truck seat situations.
  12. Well its settled. Theyre selling em with the adapter piece attached. I wish I liked that ergo grip, Ive used it before on an AR and I wasnt sold on the trap door piece on the under side.
  13. ok...its all clear to me now. apparently CSS is selling these ergo grips attached to that adapter.. Or at least thats what it looks like in the link Moe posted. Thats sort of clever I guess, having them attached so they just bolt rite up to the gun. I still havent been able to get my pistol grip set up yet, using the tango down grip and adapter. It wont fit rite for some reason, and when I do get it to fit, it looks and feels just plain funky. Gonna f_ck with it some more. Thanks for the info.
  14. So youre saying the Ergo grip on your Draco pistol was installed without the adapter? Im lost cuz that sure looks like an AR to AK grip adapter. Could you explain or maybe even show a pic of the grip not on your pistol. Thanks. Damn that thing looks good with some plum!
  15. The Draco and Champion pistols are closer to being a "real AK" than most any other Kalashnikovs sold here in the USA. If an accessory/part is designed to fit a stamped Kalashnikov, it'll fit these pistols. Thanks. I just picked up the AR on AK grip adapter and a Tangodown rear battle grip and havent been able to make it stick yet. It might need some "work" and was curious if Moe was able to do it without any extra effort.
