I have a small miller 110 mig welder and can weld quite well, can I use this for adding H&K style sites to my gun and dust cover or no. Also another member told me he had his sites silver solder on. How do you do this. I have done alot of copper soldering is it the same??

I went to do another conversion and grabbed the 2 Tromix FCG I have and noticed that the base on one of them, where the pin goes through (the tee part)was shorter then the other one.I measured Outside to outside The smaller one measured 1.003 The biggger one measured 1.025 Will this creat to much side to side slide on the hammer or is it fine?? What do some of yours measure??

I have been looking for something like this also.I want to use my hand guards I have bought, but have a top rail also. I know alot of people would like this or a two piece set one for over the gas tube front and back, and one for the top cover. I already have the Titan quad rail on one of mine but I want to use bolt on H&K stlye sights on another gun but need the rails on top.

I was reading in one of my gun magazines about one of the biggest shot shows in Europe I think it was, but anyways they are talking about all these different gun companies and manufacturers and there was one that really caught my eye,It was about one that makes all sorts of different AKs and in different calibers. One example was if you wanted an AK in 243 they make it, I could not believe all the different caliber and configurations they wrote about. Why do we not get any of this stuff shipped into the USA??

I just bought a Rock River AR in 9mm, and I am going to try my stock on it next. I was going threw way to much 223 with it. My next move is to build an AR in 5.45x39 I was going to do that first but I do not have any ammo in that on hand, which is one of the reasons why I bought the RR 9mm first. (plus I have wanted one for a long time)

You lack the steel piece in the back, or just the screw? The steel piece does not look removable. The steel piece comes out it has a roll pin through it.

I used to think I did not have enough ammo on hand but after reading here I might have to much. I but a bunch several years ago right before it begin to spike in price so I got real lucky, and I bought a bunch from a fellow who was moving and did not want to take much with him. But I always figured I could trade ammo for stuff when the SHTF it will be another form of money. I have one safe full of ammo all in cans with silica bags in the cans and several dehumidifers in the safe.I just hope I never have to bug out on foot and leave it all behind with my guns and home. When I first did my 308 conver. a few years ago I did away with the stock gas tube and found a vented one that fit perfect. Now I am changing the 308 to a different setup and am using the SGM tactical quad rail set up and need the factory gas tube back, and I can't find mine anywhere. Are any of the gas tubes interchangable between rifles or no. I bought two gas tubes off here and nither will fit my 308??? PLEASE HELP I have been trying to finish this gun for 3 weeks now.Is there another route to go, Anybody have a 308 stock gas tube???

I bought a SGM bolt on brake for my 308 from a second party, and read some on here about fitting it to the gun. On mine when it is installed and bolted on it has a very small gap on each side where the top piece meets the bottom, when the brake is off the gun they fit flush?? I removed some material from the back of the front site but thats not the problem. So do any of yours not fit flush and have a tiny gap on each side or do they fit flush

First what does it matter to everyone else what I want, I cant BELIEVE the responses that have been posted. So let me say I have 10 MD ARMS DRUMS and 8 PROMAG 12 round drums so its not like i was getting ride of any just for one.. I bought a used AA Wraithmaker 20 round drum for $150.00 worth of silver.
