The HDs are better for quicker sight aquisition in general. I can pick up the front immediately compared to my regular green vial sight.

Matthew Hopkins, I take it you have experience buying such an item? Have you ever been to Afghanistan? They make their own AKs in mud huts utilizing 10 year old boys for builders. These rugs are everywhere and are a part of their history. Why in the fuck would they import them from China and sell them to GIs for a couple of bucks, literally? No special handling needed. I used one for a plain old rug next to my rack to keep my bare feet out of the dirt over there.

I know there are a shit ton of posts about this topic everywhere but I would like to know what the legal answer is regarding a SBR AK pattern weapon needing to comply with 922r. I asked the Tech Branch a long time ago and was told my Draco SBR needed to comply even though it would be registered as a NFA firearm. A SOT builder told me the letter doesn't mean shit, they go by the regulations book. So, from the SOT side of the forum, what is the correct answer? Does an AK SBR need to comply with 922r or not?
