  1. I have a 1yr old, converted Saiga 308, 16" I am wanting to sell. Dinzag internals, Saw pistol grip, standard AK butt stock, 3 point sling, Scout Scope Mount and NcStar Pistolero 2-7.
  2. Anyone having any luck with the Aimpoint replicas offered on ebay?
  3. Sapper7, very nice. What scope mounts are those?
  4. Can't go wrong with Dinzag. Been there and done it.
  5. I will second the Dinzag conversion. His products and service are top notch.
  6. Ok, converted and shot the 308 (Thanks Dinzag, you rock). I need to get a recoil/slip on pad for the TAPCO buttstock. What size or manufacture am I looking for? Thanks
  7. Looking to convert the 308. Who has a conversion kit? What is needed?
  8. Anyone ever dealt with any of these 2 items, from K-VAR? www.k-var.com/shop/product.php?productid=16964&cat=335&page=1 www.k-var.com/shop/product.php?productid=16965&cat=335&page=1 Does it look like everything needed for the conversion is there? Thnaks
  9. I would love to attend the appleseed meets, but I don't see it happening soon. As for polishing, how is that done?
  10. Ok, here it is. Keeping rifle in stock configuration, so I am not looking at conversion tips or argument. What can be done to improve accuracy. Thanks
  11. Ok, here are the pics of the final project. Took off the UTG front. Shot with it the first time, and the scope would not hold zero. Got the Scout Scope Mount and it works like a charm. Zeroed in the iron sights at 50 yards, sitting and groups were spread no further then 4". Zeroed in the scope at 50 yards (Ran out of rounds) and had groups with a spread no larger then an inch. Using a 2-9 NcStar Pistolero Scope. Once I get it out further (100 and 200 yards) I will get an update posted on groups.
  12. Ok. here it is, final product. I will get out to the range tomorrow, and will post results then.
  13. Almost done. Ready for fitment and paint. Yeah.
  14. You are kind of right. I have since sought out to fabricate a new, thicker version. I am about 3/4 of the way done. Sorry, wasn't being mean, still makes me chuckle... Don't apologize. You are right. No worries. I would rather have honesty, then no response.
