  1. I just put the safety lever in before I put the BHO/ FCG pin in. Then used a long punch thru the pin hole, pulled the BHO spring down (with the spring leg in place) then pushed the FCG pin thru using the punch as a guide with a bit of wiggle got the pin thru.
  2. I'd love to have a AA 10 but just try to find one for sale. So the Saiga is the shotgun to have. Let the uninformed Glockers talk, they don't realize. By the way, I also have a Glock
  3. Wow, only one person was for the S-12. Funny that it's on Glocktalk, remember when the Golck first came out how much negative feedback it got. If they want to call the Saiga a range toy, that's fine with me. But I'm sure that none of them would want to be on the wrong end of these toy's. If anything ever happens at my house (god forbid) I'm grabbing the most fire power I have, that's the S-12
  4. I use a 1 inch slip on pad, it was the most cushy of any I've seen. It is the Limbsaver!! This pad makes it sooooo comfortable to shoot my 12. As your forum name implies, I too was taking a beating. I have a ace stock so the slip on isn't the most secure on a skeletal stock, but my shoulder sings songs of praises and thankfulness.
  5. Yeah, we have great shotguns!! But the technology that will be used to control and kill us is beyond most people's imagination. Hear me now, believe me later when it all happens. Those of you who haven't done any research on what is really happening in the world and in technology have no clue about what is about to happen to this country. For those who know and understand, I say, PREPARE YOURSELVES
  6. Could someone please explain how a magwell makes the difference in reloading on a closed bolt. I don't understand, as the mag release is still in the same position, I'm thinking that the mag is still in the same position. The only thing that comes to mind is that the front of the magazine (because of the magwell) is slightly lower or something to that effect. Please enlighten me, oh masters of the Saiga order.
  7. Hi, I sent you a pm the same day you put up the ad. Didn't hear from you, so I called and you said you had plenty left, so I told you to go ahead and send me a pm. I still haven't heard from you, I wanted two and the payment is no problem, but did you save me the two? as I see you have sold out.
  8. Go for the full conversion!! Believe me, If I can do it, anyone can do it. Watch the conversion video's a few times then ask questions on this forum. That's how I did it. I never worked on a firearm before. the full conversion makes the gun so much more of a pleasure to shoot (much, much better trigger) You can do it. I didn't think I could do it either when I first came to this forum. But the great people on this site told me otherwise. I'm glad I listened, my gun shoot's and looks great! Just watch the video's and then take your time when doing the work.
  9. I did mine the way Carolina shooters showed on thier video. Except I used a small diameter punch thru the FCG pin hole, got hold of the spring pulled it down and jiggeled it a bit to get the pin thru (bent the sring leg of course) then installed the hammer pin. I had never done any work on any firearms before this. I must say that it is so gratifying to do your own conversion. I just recently had the barrel and reciever coated with ceramic coat in a dark sniper gray. The gun looks great!! Sorry, I don't have a digital camera for pictures. When I get one I'll put some up.
  10. Mine have a slight bit of movement also. Hasn't been a problem for me yet.
  11. My only dealing with MAA was for a Saiga 12 stock also, they were prompt and professional in taking the stock back and providing a refund. AAAplus from me to MAA!!! As with all the other vendors on this forum. Especially Carolina Shooter's Supply. Gregg must have his mailbox on his office desk. Sometimes products arrive almost before you order them. GREAT JOB ALL OF YOU!! Thanks from all of us, for giving us the product's that make our addiction more reliable and fun!!
  12. Ahh yes, tampons, a multi-use field tool. Can be used in a pinch to plug a gunshot (not shotgun) wound until the medic arrives.
  13. I had just gotten a FN SLP shotgun. It worked great.....but... I kept bemoaning the fact that I couldn't just stick a mag in it to reload it. I noticed some vid's on youtube with this shotgun that had a magazine. I found this forum and converted my 12 with the help of these great people on this forum. I'm hooked!! By the way that FN SLP is for sale now!!
  14. Looks like a good design, I'll try one.
  15. Check out the tri setup in the ad, in my signature line. And this one is total bad ass IMO. Yeah Cameron, me too, where can I get those side covers?
  16. I don't know if this will help you or not. But I'm left handed also, but I shoot right handed. Anyway, what I do is pull the bolt handle back with my right thumb then push the BHO up with my right middle finger, then go to the mag release with my right and change mags with my left.
  17. Very good, I will order one or two, Thanks!!
  18. I started to drill those rivets, but when I saw it would take a while, I decided to take nalioth's advice and I used a small cold chisel on those rivets, worked great!! Thanks Nalioth
  19. I'll take 2 magwells and 2 LRBHO when they're ready Nathan!!
  20. I'd like one too, but like vitamink, I'm extremely dumb on the computer. Does PM refer to my messenger on this site?
