Wanting to buy just the top portion of a chaos rail--whatever will fit the bottom tri rail

I really would like to go with the Chaos rail, I just wanted to keep the budget around $100. I remember the rails used to be around that price, but it looks like they've gone up... I have a Kvar mount and it's rock solid. The side mount was originally meant for optics mounting and from using one on an AK74 and being able to nail watermelons at 500 yards, I don't know why I would use anything else. I just don't think the top UTG rail is solid enough, so that's not on the table at the moment.

Why not the side rail? It's the same price and seems a Lot easier to install

I'm looking to put an eotech XPS2 on top of my saiga 12, so I'm wondering if I should go with a chaos quad rail or a BP02 from kalinka? What does everyone prefer? I have a UTG quad rail on it right now that I've been considering selling in order to put a better mounting option on my S12. I only use the bottom portion of the UTG rail as it is for a forward grip, so I'm thinking a side rail mount may be the ticket

How much does it usually cost for someone to weld and smooth the rivet holes? To polish the bottom of the bolt? To add a safety lever stop?

I saw some VEPR 12 mags in stock from SGM and since I'm going to have to modify my saiga 12 mags anyways to work with a Tac47 magwell, I was wondering if I might as well get some VEPR 12 mags to modify and use with my saiga 12 with the new magwell. What's the major difference between the mags? Would this work?

I messaged Tac-47 and never received a reply. I think it's a bit ridiculous that they don't provide instructions on how to properly modify saiga 12 magazines to fit the magwell. Can someone post a step by step process/video/pictures showing how to properly modify the mags to work with this magwell? These mags are much too expensive to take a chance on and screw up...

I want a Free Conversion. I just bought a saiga 12 for my girlfriend (soon to be much more!) for home defense and to compete with me in 3-gun. I also have an unconverted saiga 12, which I hope to be able to afford to convert some day, but would get this done to my girlfriend's saiga if I were to win it (maybe throw in a pink paint job for her???). I'm spending this 4th of July with my girlfriend and my parents in Galveston, TX to watch the fireworks, relax on the beach and fish.
