    I'm finally a competitor of sorts. I did an IDPA match last Sunday and met the organizer of a local 3 gun match. Hopefully I can start doing both regularly.

      You mean I have to wear pants? I only saw regulations about holsters and magazine placements.

      I enjoyed the USPSA style matches more than the IDPA still have a few restrictions on the equipment but less requirement on mag drops or use of cover. If in your area they have steel plate matches they’re a fast fun match with no pasting targets just repainting the plates.

      That's fun too. I actually want to be forced to use cover. I don't necessarily agree with the rationale behind some of the reload rules, but I do like how inexpensive IDPA is. It's nice to actually really have a chance to compete with what I carry.
