  1. I was reassembling my VEPR 12 and managed to brake one of the little tabs that holds on the left side ambi lever. Anyone know where I can get a replacment? I've looked everywhere without any luck. And with out welding up the receiver I can see a way to put a standard or Krebs safety on the gun. I have one of the folding stock ambi models. Does anyone make an adapter so I can use a normal safety?
  2. Your Saw grip should look like this one with a Tromix DIY
  3. I actually happen to have rather long arms because of my height (6'7") so The front grip on the SGM rail feels good even when it's on the farthest end of the rail. But I guess I can see how it could be awkward for people with short or regular arms. I did the same thing you did with the Tromix TG just as insurance I added a couple of star lock washers with loctite also. The muzzle brake is the SGM Professional Series "The Gunner" I really like it and it's built really heavy and solid. One question I did have though was were to find plugs to fill the old rivet holes in the re
  4. I got it figured out and managed to get it in there albeit a pain it's done! I also bent the BHO spring on the end like in that video and it was easy to install then. Thanks for the help everyone. Here's my finished Saiga 12 http://forum.saiga-12.com/index.php?showtopic=39112
  5. Just figured out the final details and got everything back together. I refinished the trigger guard area with engine paint since it had bare metal exposed. I know that isn't the ideal way to do it but it works and looks good. What do you guys think? Before After
  6. Well I've been attempting to finish my Saiga today and I've gotten everything done but I can't get the shephards hook to fit in and get the pins through. Is this always such a major pain? I'm attempting to put it in via this method... Any help is appreciated! http://www.gunsnet.net/Linx310/fcgremovalm3.htm Here is the style shephards hook I have It isn't the same but it's all I could find.
  7. BINGO! that worked like a charm it's not really a sherpards hook I guess on the stock version I saw the shepards hook in the Tromix FCG and it looks completely different. Thanks for the info, wish this was in a guide somewhere, it seems to be omited. Thanks for helpin a n00b.

  9. Hey people I'm new here, I've lurked around a while and was doing a conversion on my Saiga 12. I read up on it thoroughly and read all the guides I purchased Tromix parts for my conversion a Tromix DIY trigger guard, and Tromix modified Tapco FCG. The problem I'm having I can't find in any guide, except one unanswered post. I removed my trigger guard and removed the rear trigger rivets just fine but I can't seem to get the trigger and hammer axle pins out I've tried numerous things and no luck. I have used multiple punches and started with a ball peen hammer and worked my way to a 2
