I’d like to put a 2-point sling mounted a buttstock point and receiver point. I can drill and mount a QR bolt in the Tromix folding stock I have but is there a way to add a QR mount to the left side of the receiver of a S-12? It seems somebody might have come up with a do-dad that mounts on the left side rail mount on the receiver.

Thanks for that. Once I get the rivets out, how can I replace those drilled out pins? Do I need new rivets installed or are there other non-rivet versions available? [...and I can swim fine!]

I've tried using a dovetail-to-Piccatinny rail adaptor from CSS to mount an optic on a S-12, but the dovetail or adaptor seem out of whack, as the optic is canted to the left some 10-15 degrees. I have an '08 model with no rib and a fixed front site. I understand the Ultimak rail requires the FS be ground off, a hole drilled and tapped. I'm handy with a Dremel and drill and wondering if I might just be able to do this myself w/o too much trouble, or if I really need a gunsmith. I don't mind paying a gunsmith but do mind waiting weeks to get the job done.

I picked up a TAPCO G2 FCG fro dinzagarms years ago and finally got to putting it in. I looked at various videos on disassembly/assembly of S12 innards but none look like mine. 1. My Safety Lever does not come out before all other FCG parts as it will not rotate to vertical. It hits against the transfer yoke legs and the sear/disconnector unit. I had to take the latter part out by pulling out both axis pins (hammer and sear/disconnector), lifting out the hammer and sear/disconnector and then rotating the Safety Lever. 2. Tony at Tromix confirmed their FCG is for forward trigger conversions. So I placed an order with DINZAG for the TAPCO factory set and plate. 4-6 week wait, but people seem to say good things about him.

I think NB misread your question. No, It is not a drop in for sporter model. You need to move the trigger forward for it to be a drop in Mississippi Auto Arms is selling a conversion kit Folding Stock w/PG that doesn't require receiver mods. So I'm simply looking to replace the FCG with US Parts. Are there any options available?
