  2. SOLD to SPETSNAZGRU PENDING FUNDS (2) Russian/Izhmash factory 8-round Saiga-12 magazines. Extremely desirable and hard to get, as there has never been a regular importer for them. Overall condition is excellent, with some wear on the feed clip and locking lugs from normal use. One mag shows more wear than the other, since it was used in my house gun for several years. Asking $240 for the pair, shipped anywhere in the Lower 48 States. Payment by Money Order or cashier's check. No Paypal. Not interested in any trades at this time. Thanks for looking! 3. I recently got to shoot some clays with my Saiga-12 (which also sports a Chaos rail, but no HK sights), as well. Did surprisingly well, considering it was my first time shooting aerial targets of any kind, with ANY gun, and the fact that my Saiga swings like a dumptruck. "No sporting purpose," my butt! Some video from the i-Kam Xtremes, aka the "James Bond glasses": l also got to try busting clays with a Benelli SuperNova, which I did OK with, and a single-shot .410, which I didn't.
  4. I use it, I like it, and it has held up.
  5. In addition to Colt and VLTOR, Magpul, LMT and CMT/Stag all offer stocks for mil-spec diameter tubes.
  6. I've got the VLTOR RE-47 on one of my Saiga-12s and one of my AK-74s. I'm a fan.
  7. +1 Both my Saiga-12s are known as "the Big Russian Hammer".
  8. Updated pic of my #2 Saiga-12, with an MD/Gunfixr gas reg, Chaos USA tri-rail, and Tapco "stubby" VFG: A friend shooting the gun; better lighting shows more gun detail. Ejected casing is on its way out of the picture.
  9. SPOT MKIII: Similar to an Aimpoint, but I'd stop short of calling it a "clone" (battery type/location and controls are different). IME, it's one of the best "cheap" RDS out there. I've been running several of them on various guns (to include ARs, AKs, a 10/22 and an M-11/9 SMG) for a number of years now, and have had no issues with any of them. Bushnell TRS-25: Has the form factor of an Aimpoint Micro, at about 1/4 of the price. With mine, the dot appears to dim if you orient it at the top or extreme left edge of the sight window. While a bit distracting, it does not affect function.
  10. Received and installed my (2) Tri-Rails last week. Here's a pic of my house gun with its new front end:
  11. Just got Email notification that my Tri-Rails have shipped! Thanks, Cameron!
  12. Pre-ordered (2) tri-rails on 7/6. Thanks for the awesome deal, Cameron!
  13. Who did your conversion? The issues you're having is one of the reasons I tend to eschew the turned-up handle (that and to maintain commonality with my AK rifles). I got a spare bolt and carrier assembly from Tantal's Collector's Source awhile back; you might want to Email him to request his current price/inventory list. tantal@sbcglobal.net
  14. On the shotgun models, can the lower section be used independently of the upper section?
  15. Laser Devices universal mount and SureFire Classic Weaponlight (upgraded 6P) works for me.
  16. IMO, no it doesn't. First, you might never actually get around to having the chop job done, in which case you'll be out the $200 AND have a registered SBS with none of the benefits but all of the hassles thereof (see below). This approach would also create a conflict between the barrel length and OAL listed on the Form 1, and the actual measurements of the gun. If you do go ahead and file the form in advance, keep these things in mind: 1) once your Form 1 comes back approved, the gun becomes a registered SBS (regardless of its actual barrel length) and must be treated as such. That mean
