I recommend the .223 model, I have my own reasons for that. In NY post ban high cap mags are illegal. So I just use the 10 round magazines with it. Also the .223 is much more accurate. It does however all depend on what you want to use the rifle for. Those a two things to consider. Don't forget there is also .308 and 5.45 I believe.

Ok so I did a bit more work .. .removed those ugly binding posts and replace with some hex screws. Did that bit of painting underneath and I came out with this... like I said before though the pistol grip is probably going to be changed out for something with matching color. With the scope on.... And painted underneath I got a different pistol grip though ... that green just didn't match too well... ok now I'm all set on my .223 ... next the .308!

any special paint i should use?

So I just converted my .223 and i bought this pistol grip from carolina shooters as an upgrade (rip off)... the green on this grip doesn't match my tapco buttstock and foregrip. So my next choice would be the Hogue because I like the rubberized feel So my question is... will the Hogue OD green match the rest of my furniture? Thanks guys

eh .. good point ... lets stop talking about it and post more pics to express our 2nd amendment rights (that of course comply with federal law 922r regulating the configuration of imported semi automatic assault weapons as previously mentioned). Ahhhh freedom ... as prescribed by our benevolent leaders in washington in small doses.
