    SLR-107

I have an Arsenal in 556, and one in 5.45, in my opinion both guns are well made. They both run great. I also have a Romanian in 7.62X39, cost alot less, a little rougher, not as nice, but..... runs great. The Arsenal guns are slightly more accurate at a little under 2 inches at 100 yards.
  2. Have you compared how far its ejects the low brass bird shot rounds, compared to slugs or buckshot? In theory they should eject about the same distance. I am thinking of getting one for 3 gun matches. The new trend is to have you shoot slugs and bird shot on the same stage, and this device if it works will be really convenient.
  3. Fairly new club, holds USPSA pistol matches and 3 gun matches on alternate months. Well run safe and fun. Usually about 4 to 5 saiga 12, in the mix. Located at Summit Point West VA, at the ranges on the Race/track/ BSR driving school facility. Gunfire and roaring engines, check it out. http://spshooters.com/
  4. Hey Tire Iron, I also just did my first conversion , and have pretty much the same set up as you, 3 hole gun with the same mods you have made. And got the same results first time out to the range, with the the bird shot loads. The gun ran fine with OO and slugs. So I polished the bolt as advised on one of the treads here, used the lapping compound trick as mentioned in a reply on this thread and got the reduced power springs, but only replaced the front one and left the stiffer stock spring at the back of the recoils spring guide (behind sliding dust cover). Next time to the range....., S

    DONATIONS?

Hi John, I just read your post and considered what is this forum worth to me? I recently got the Saiga 12 bug, bought one and converted and modified it to the configuration I desired. I could not of done this with out the information I was able to search out here at, Saiga forum. For me this is like a book that had all the answers. It got me the gun I wanted and prevented me from ruining the gun I had. By researching the details and experience freely shared on these pages. So I considered your point and realized the righteous thing to do, for me, was to make a contribution. Thanks for
