  1. Typical drama added to an extreme job. The photography of the workers in action scared me silly. Tough folks..
  2. Feed is expensive but the eggs are good. I like barred rocks, and gold sex-linked brands. Watch out of for raccoons, weasels, bobcats and coyotes. And most especially dogs.. I like the free-range cage bit but not my idea of low maintenance.
  3. My wife is making me remodel the living room...which I happened to like quite a lot until she insisted I gut it and do a bit of patching, painting and carpeting and who knows what. The point is, I am trapped in the house with her until monday so I have been eating pork and beans at lunch and letting her know I am hard at work...brpppppppppppp...for her, all afternoon long.
  4. I will take the handguard for $15 shipped. Please pm me address info.
  5. Looking for a stock poly handguard and gastube. Thanks
  6. 500 rds of 308. Could not pass it up for $240....not that I need it, I just like ammo.
  7. And three counties shall rule them all. Fuck our state leaders.
  8. I tend to believe none of what I hear and 1/2 of what I see. And still my tin-foil hat is tightly upon my head.
  9. I have 2' of snow on the ground and it's still snowing like a son of b. I am sick of plowing, shoveling and falling but it sure is pretty out. All in all I wish I was in the Florida Keys snorkeling and drinking cold beer.
  10. Thanks. Rifle is stock and I can get it for $400. I have found a few nice rifles the last week and am having a hard time deciding. If I get the saiga it will be a varmit rifle. Besides, I don't have a 223 rifle.
  11. Thank you for the reply mancat. The bho wasn't working on manual..maybe I can get the price down a bit. The muzzle looks like it has a nut, similar to early threaded mak 90 or nhm models. Will give him a call, thanks.
  12. Anyone know the reason for the velcro? piece on the receiver? Seems a little strange. And, are there threads under what appears to be a muzzle nut? I have been looking at these rifles for years and figure now's the time to get a 223 rifle. It's a 20" model, which I could of got years ago for $220 but I kept on buying regular ak's instead. Also, the bho appears not to work, Has anyone seen this before? I have a few 308 saigas and am familiar with the rifle but could not get this one to functions. Thanks. I am about ready to call the dealer up and have him put it aside for me but the bho iss
