Your x-rays of the MD20 drum are one of the reasons I ended up going with that design over other designs. Thanks for sharing your time and the x-ray images with us.

Sort of an all over the place first post, but I just ordered my first S12 drum, a MD Arms 20 rounder, extra spring (I have PILES of extra parts), and Gunfixer gas plug. I've had reliable operation thus far (with everything but cheap-o birdshot) but I'd like to not toss 2-3/4 slug empties into the next county. I'm hoping that the plug will also remove the perceived need for a recoil buffer, I just don't like beating up that rear trunnion. In any case, thanks for having this forum open, folks.
