  1. I have for sale a brand new in the box Colt M4LE 6921 Law Enforcement Carbine with a 14.5" 5.56 mil-spec 1/7 twist barrel. All parts are Colt, marked with the famous "C", where appropriate. This is the real deal!!

Still have the original box, and plastic bag it came in. Its only been out to take pictures of it, and have probably only charged the handle 3 or 4 times.

Comes with original accessories - sling, cleaning kit, 2 20-round mags. I'm throwing in 2 extra 30-round mags. All 4 mags marked "Colt" with the Rampant Colt symbol.

The year of manufacture date stamped on the barrel is: 02/07. The manufacture date on the plastic bag it came wrapped in is: Oct 06. The serial number range is: LE028XXX

I bought this a few years ago on a Form 4 thinking I'd shoot it, but its been sitting in my climate-controlled firesafe ever since. This would make a great addition to someone's collection, or a great tool for someone in the public sector.

I'm asking $2000, or any sort of trade offers, or best offer. Best offer takes it.

  2. ***********RIFLE IS SOLD******************

Up for grabs is a Saiga .308 with a 21 inch hammer-forged chrome-lined barrel. It was imported by EAA and was manufactured in 2004.

It is converted from the "sporterized" rifle stock to standard pistol grip configuration, and has black sythetic furniture with a Choate Dragunov stock and a Tapco G2 Hammer, Trigger and Sear, so it is 922r compliant.

It comes with a Harris adjustable-legged bipod, UTG 5th gen quick release scope mount, Tasco Worldclass 3-9x40 scope, and 3 magazines - 2 factory 8-rounders and a SureFire 25 rounder.

I am the original owner of this rifle, purchased in 2005, and have put somewhere around 500 rounds through it. Although this platform of rifle is extremely robust and capable of firing steel cased rounds, I have only fired brass-cased ammunition through it, either NATO-spec 7.62 or Federal new production .308, all non-corrosive. I have always kept the barrel, chamber and moving parts cleaned and oiled after every shooting session, and it has been kept in a climate-controlled firesafe its entire life.

This rifle shoots good, solid 3-6 inch groups at 100 yards (depending on how well I'm shooting that day), but I had more fun repeatedly shooting steel plates at 200 yards with it. This is a good solid rifle, at a good price for everything that it comes with. Jump on this deal while you still can.

    $599 OBO

I will only ship to an FFL. Buyer pays $40 flat rate shipping via insured UPS delivery.

I will entertain most any offer. PM me with questions.

  3. So no other reviews of this brake?

Dude, I know. Its a lost cause to try to get any hard accuracy info out of these guys. Its kinda like talking to a brick wall.

So far, no one has done any extensive testing/reviews. All I'm hearing is that its "good" or "great"; words that are purely qualitative, not quantitative.

If someone gives me some hard data, I'll drop the coin for one of these. Otherwise, what's the point?

I bought the thing, went through all the trouble of reserving the range to make a quick video, and gave a quick rundown on the results of my findings. What else do you want? Either buy it or don't man. Range time for me and my co-workers are hard to come by, so I can't just sit at 100 yards firing 3 and 5 shot groups for accuracy. Its just not an efficient use of range time. Don't blast us for trying to help others in their decision making. Jeez, you can't please some people. If you want a super accurate rifle, get a Remington 700 or a Savage anyway!

Do you have stock in the company or something? You're pretty defensive for someone who is just a customer. You might be trying to justify the fact that you paid $170 for a muzzle brake?

Its only right to ask for some hard R&D data on this product if I'm going to buy it. I have to disagree with you: Shooting 100yd groups for accuracy would be efficient use of your time if in fact you're testing a rifle round that zeros at 200 yards. I wouldn't call 25yd groups "findings", unless you're shooting it from a car window. Anybody with pretty much any caliber can group at 25yds. Besides, I can shoot a minimum of 5" groups at 350yds without the brake.

If you aren't going to shoot at a greater distance than 25-50yds, you should stick to Airsoft.

Or Pistols... I would chime in with some "Hard accuracy info" but I haven't saved any of my Saiga .308 targets because I have only shot Brown Bear through my rifle. I've shot (before the SMG break) 3-4" groups at 100 yards. Nothing to get too excited about. I haven't got the chance to test 3 or 5 shot groups with the break or with any decent ammo. When I tested the break, I only fired 10 shots continuously two separate times to test follow up shots at 100 yds. Both times my 10 shot "semi-rapid-fire"groups with brown bear ammo were under 12". I recently purchased a Remington 700 SPS Varmint and was zeroing the scope that day also. I shot a 1" 3 shot group at 100 yards using Hornady 168gr moly coated HPBT with the R700. I hope this soft info021.gif will cool yer jets until I get back out to the range. I recently had a Raddlock malfunction so my rifle is disassembled right now to avoid any California Assault Rifle charges010.gif.

If you can't be patient, either buy it and test it yourself and return it if your not satisfied or thread your barrel. Either way, don't come in here getting all offensive. We are trying to help out. Not everyone can afford to shoot expensive ammo for accuracy all day long.

I hear ya. 3-4" at 100yds will kill something. Deer hopefully. If you think I've run anything other than Brown Bear or surplus through this gun, think again. Its an AK, not a Remington 700.

Don't be so sensitive. The reason for my "offense" is that I don't want to pay to lose accuracy. I'd much rather spend the extra money on ammo - any kind.

  4. First off, this is my rifle that I use for hunting. Me and my co-workers train for cqb, so we do partner drills with our carbines and pistols. I can't say "Hold up. Before we get started let me shoot some groups for accuracy for my hunting rifle that I use for two-three months out of the year. I know we only have two hours, but I really have to do this to prove to some random guy on the internet that my muzzle brake makes the gun handle alot better." The range we use is also used by many other agencies, including the FBI, ATF, etc... I don't have any stock in the company, but I did do the review for people who don't have the means to thread the barrel correctly. It was very frustrating going to gunsmith after gunsmith trying to get someone to work on my rifle, only to be turned down and looked at weirdly time and time again. This product was a godsend, and I do recommend it for those reasons. I'm glad I paid $150 for it, and if I had a 16" .308 I would buy another one. Take your trolling-ass somewhere else with that nonsense. Airsoft?!? That's so lame...

"Trolling-ass" nothing. After repeated attempts to get some real accuracy info about this brake, I was repeatedly ignored, so I think I've got the right to call you on it.

I hunt with my 16" Saiga .308 as well, where the mule deer are at a minimum 75-100yds away. What's "lame" is that you don't practice at realistic distances with your hunting rifle. That is the gun you kill things with, correct? Maybe you don't hunt at those distances, who knows.

All that aside, my point being that your review wasn't any way realistic or helpful to me. If you recall, I said: "Its a lost cause to try to get any hard accuracy info out of these guys," not you in particular. If the shoe fits, wear it. Your review was particularly helpful in showing the reduced recoil of the brake, so don't blow a gasket, pal.

  5. So no other reviews of this brake?

  7. Ya know, It would seem that all it would take would be a follower that extended up out of the mag on the last round to hold the bolt back.

In fact, I had a ProMag that acted like that because the follower wasn't molded right.

I bet if someone just made a taller, steel reinforced follower, you'd have your Last Round Bolt Hold Open right there. That's how it works on Yugo 7.62x39 mags....

and when you take the mag out.................

Valid point. I guess I'm not thinking of people who don't have a magwell.

In my case, it doesn't matter if you have the bolt locked back or not, so a LRBH that can't have the bolt dropped without toucjing the charging handle is kinda useless. With a magwell, mags go in easy whether they're loaded or not - you're still gonna have to rack the bolt to get it loaded.

I'd want something where you can just pull down on the BHO and have the bolt carrier chamber a round. That's where its at.

  9. Ok, point taken.

I can admit that I was totally ignorant of the facts.

If Cobra is telling me Jeric's LRBHO is crap, then I am inclined to believe him, and steer clear of it.

Furthermore, I will wait for what Cobra has in store.

Thanks to all who "learned me up good." I needed it.

  10. Hey fellas,

I'm looking for . . . Last Round Bolt Hold Open.

    :haha2: . . . . :haha2: . . . . :haha2: . . . . . :haha2: . . . . . . . . . . :nothing:

So what the hell is that about? You got nothing better to do? At least thehopping1 offered some helpful info.

Any idea on how to get ahold of Jeric, anyone? Anybody have any info about him? I know he used to sell them. Do you all know something I don't?

    Thanks.

  11. Ya know, I've got a little 16" barreled Saiga .308 that I was considering getting this item for. In fact I've been very curious about it as of late.

I was concerned with how this brake will affect accuracy. I've done some paper shooting with my rifle at 100 yards using 2003 production Lithuanian Surplus, 147 GR 7.62.51 NATO stuff. With iron sights, I've always stayed within a 5" x 5" group, when I'm really concentrating.

At 100 yards, I'll set up shaken-up pop cans (fruit punch is my favorite) and consistently hit 7-12 in a row, about 3 seconds between shots.

Furthermore, I recently had the chance to shoot it (with the same ammo) on a 400 yard range. I set up 16oz sized (approx. 3" x 5") water bottles full of Tannerite at about the 350 yard mark, and with my rear leaf sight one click above the "3" mark, I was consistently hitting those things in 1-2 shots apiece. Granted, I was on the 400meter setting on the rear leaf sight, and I had to aim slightly low and just a tad to the left, but that could have been wind.

I'm not trying to bullshit anybody here, and I'm not showing off. I was just as surprised to find that I could get that kind of accuracy out of my gun, and with only iron sights no less!

Where this anecdote is going is this: Has anybody, or will anybody do any bench-rest shooting with and without this brake, to actually get a feel for how it shoots? I'm not saying I don't trust the guys at SGM, but they've got a product to sell, ya know?

I'm pretty damn impressed (and satisfied) with the accuracy of my gun as it is. Does the improvement in accuracy when using this brake justify the $170 price tag or should I take that money and replenish my supply of .308 ammunition?

  12. I'm looking for a Saiga-12 factory thread protector/nut. I've got my barrel threaded, but can't seem to get a nut to cover the threads, or find a factory muzzle nut that isn't made out of 24karat gold:money:

If anyone's got a muzzle nut hangin around, or even a choke that they aren't using, I'd like to pick it up from you.

I've also got a few items to trade, don't know if anyone's interested: some Saiga factory trigger parts and buttstocks. I'm more than willing to pay cash though.

    Thanks.

  13. Up for sale is a Romanian G-kit AK on a DC Industries receiver.

The date on the rifle is 1986, and all numbers match, including the gas tube, top cover, bolt, and bolt carrier. It has a threaded barrel (14x1 left-hand) and a bayonet lug.

This is pretty much a brand new gun, manufactured by Top Cat Enterprises out of Keizer, OR. I've only had 50 rounds through it to function test it, and thoroughly cleaned it for storage afterward.

    Its a solid, straight-shooting rifle.

$500, and comes with two 30-round magazines and a rifle bag.

Will ship to FFL only. Buyer pays $30 shipping via UPS.

  14. Up for sale is a Bulgarian side rail scope mount, item #74BU-IK. I purchased this part from Tantal.com for a AK-74 project, but the project fell through, and I no longer need it.

These rails are direct replicas of the Bulgarian AK-74 rails and go for 60 bucks new from Tantal. This one is brand new, just like it came from Tantal, and comes with 3 rivets, two short, one long, and a printed instruction guide.

This is a great deal on a high-quality part.

    The price is $40.

Buyer pays $3 shipping if paying by money order, or $5 if paying via PayPal.
