  1. Thanks a lot guys, mine isn't a Romanian AK but the answer is still valid. It helps a lot.
  2. I give up, does anybody know what all the little parts are that come with the Saiga 308 cleaning tool. I have a cleaning rod, and brush, which I have no problem with, but the other things that come with it is a little screw driver type thing, and a firing pin, or at least it looks like one, and the tube with all the holes in it. There not in the manual, anybody have these?
  3. I found 168 gr. 308 seems better, I'm shooting at 200M, and I'm still looking, I don't know if I'm ready to pay for Lapua shells yet but I'm thinking about it. I reload and found the 168 gr, appears the best for me.
  4. I heard all the storys about how the posp was allot of trouble to zero in and hold good groups, I didn't have any problems with it. At 100 yds. I could see the target like it was right in front of me, and took it off and put it back on without any change in sighting. 4" group is good enough for me. This is one fun gun to shoot. I like it better then my 223. My 308 with a 16" is just right for me. I found it is much better with 168 gr, shells with 43 grs, of Imr 4895 I reloaded. It didn't do as well with 39 grs. with the same bullet weight. I'm still looking for the perfect round to use, powder
  5. I might be a little premature with this, but the denting of the cases was starting to bother me,I tried putting a little rubber piece on the handle of the slide, and I think it worked, I say" think it worked" because I was using the same reloads from before the piece was put on. I used a rubber knob off of a wire shelf I have in the garage, the kind they sell at Home Depot. I noticed the shells looked pretty good, didn't see any new dents. The other thing I'm going to try is file the sharp edge of the slide. Anybody have any other ideas? By the way this gun is very good at a 100yds, with i
