I used the red Loctite based on Tromix's recommendation. My Shark brake was 90 degrees off when fully tightened on my Saiga 12. I thoroughly cleaned both the threads on the barrel and the brake with 91% Isopropyl Alcohol and I let it dry for six hours. Then applied the red Loctite and properly indexed the Shark Brake (quarter turn or 90 degree loose). Once totally dry after 24 hours it has not moved at all.

I'm going with a Fastfire III also. I have not made up my mind on the dot size. Let me know how you like the 7 MOA dot on yours.

I'm going to be in for both. The caveat being that the .223 works with existing STANAG mags and that the 12 gauge works with existing and available magazines. If not, I will not be interested. I already have 75 Bulgy .223 mags and a container of Saiga 12 mags and Drums. I will buy a bunch for my VEPR 12, but that's it.

VEPR barrels are thicker (OD) than the Saiga barrels.

I'm also curious about that HOBO style booster. Does it work as a booster to help cycling or is it just a barrel shroud?

They have one! I put my m4 folder on last night and love it. It is hard to fold at first, but also has no wobble at all. Can you post a picture please? What stock did I you use in the folder? Any interference issues with the bolt handle? I'm waiting on mine and I want to put a Magpul CTR on it.

I just ordered one. Does it come with a barrel nut (jam nut) for proper indexing or do I have to buy one separately?

Is this new rail for all of the AK system weapons (bothe rifles and shotguns) or only for the AK rifles? Will it work on the VEPR rifles and shotguns also? I'm very excited about this new development.

Cameron, any chance you will put out a rail system (Tri Rail or Quad) for the new VEPR 12's that are hitting the market. I would be interested in one for sure.

I like the Zenit and it costs only $150. Maybe Cameron at Chaos USA can modify one of their designs to work with the VEPR 12's
