What's some of the cool stuff I missed out on. I'll be browsing the forums but no way to catch up on 4 years. Hope everyone is doing well.

  9. So I am about to look really Dumb but that is probably the case already. I have no idea what you are talking about? Everything i watched or read led me to believe that the 3 screws were to hold the die in the handle. Are they for adjusting something? Some dies are adjustable some are not. Is the one you have like this? image.jpg nope definitely not
  10. So the 20rd tanker mags have dried up, but I found 20rd "Asian" (I assume they are Korean) steel surplus mags at CDNN. I have ordered a few and will post a follow up comparing them to the Hungarian Tanker Mags. These "Asian" mags were on sale this past weekend for $8.99 so I bit the bullet plus I needed some crush washers so why pay for shipping twice!

  12. So I threaded the barrels on my Saiga 7.62x39 and 2 SKS's I tried to put my Spikes Tactical Dynacomp on and it wouldnt thread down so i tried the M2 birdcage style off my mini draco and it fit as did my SLR Rifleworks SR47 and the standard slant style brake. The ST Dynacomp did not fit any of the 3 barrels i threaded yet it fit the mini draco, and all the other brakes fit all four barrel threads. ANY IDEAS?

  14. so my 7.62 does have a crown but doing this like the OP did would increase accuracy? and i assume my Saiga's crown and the OP's finished rifles crown are different degrees? Mine being 45 while his finished product being 11, is the the 11 degree crown preferred? how is it better? just curious thanks for the info so far lol

The first is replacing the FSB with a FSB that has a locking detent. My main concern here is making sure i dont cant the FSB.
