    What you NEED? Nothing. Just enjoy your new fine rifle. But...But...But..If you want to....Start with a Choate folding stock, then section about 4 inches out of the forearm just behind the barrel band, then reattach the front end with pins and Gorilla Glue, then rebed the barrel bed....

     

    Then...get a BATFE tax stamp and after you receive it, get a Green Mountain 8" 1X9 twist blue threaded barrel, then get another BATFE tax stamp, then get an Elite Iron Echo 2 6" suppressor, then a Vorquarsten (sp) trigger group, a nylon bolt stop. a automatic release bolt stop...

     

    An over sized AK type mag release lever...about a 5X times stronger magazine retention spring, a Ti-tan-ium (sp) firing pin, a custom made (by me) 4430 extractor, a 3X strength extractor spring, several recoil springs of different strenths, drill and tap two more holes in the top...

     

    Of the receiver soss the heavy Russian nite vision scope will mount with any flex (glitch here?)

    using the Ruger provided top rail. Then try different sub-sonic .22 ammo. I use Aquila SSS 60 gr. round nose lead sub sonic ammo hollow pointed back (by me) to about 56 grains. All BATFE rules apply. HB of CJ (old coot) smile.pngsmile.pngsmile.png

    take it from someone who uses Horses mount with an aimpoint (ill post pics one day). the stock S12 sights suck but u can def cowitness. if you want to run the setup on a 7.62 or anything besides an S12 you will be satisfied. If you add a front sight post to your S12 you will be happier but the stock sights are horrible but you can still cowitness

    I wanted the old school Romanian BFPU style. When I first put the Romanian wood on the saiga, the rifles finish looked to nice for the old furniture. So I thought I would age the saiga finish to make it older instead of refinishing the wood. Funny I made this rifle look future new with plastic tapco only to end up going back to the basics. Think I'm finally done now...

    I am about to buy some gear and wanted to know if anyone had bought this stuff and what their review was or if the have a superior product suggestion

     

    Slings-

    i have none in mind and will buy 1 for my saiga 12 and 1 for my 7.62 they both have reg sling mount points

     

    Chest Rigs-

    i am looking at Voodoo Tactical's

    any better suggestions for both AK mags and factory S12 mags? any setup thats works for both?

    what have you guys discovered is the best for drums both as a rig and range bag type (i saw the post about the winchester bag at wally world)
