10 different 25 round boxes per case. So 250 rounds, give or take. I found it's easy to bring my gear and a case of ammo. The S12 doesn't get too hot and I have had plenty of fun by that point.

RD, Dogman wrote one of many situations where it could be very useful to prove you have a firearm without taking a life or risking innocent bystanders harm. You should always try to know your target and what's beyond it. In my house, I can think of many situations where firing a round into my floor would be worthwhile. I would have to repair the floor but my smart and experienced dad told me "It'll cost you money to repair this floor, but a life is priceless." Obviously it's not for everyone, like if you lived on a second floor with people beneath you. I in NO means suggest firing a shot

I LOVE my Saiga and I feel that going to a range with a 'one round per second' rule is incredibly frustrating. It's like Driving a Ferrari in a school zone. I've been to a few and with a bolt action rifle I didn't mind the rule, but with my Saiga, even if I count in between rounds I get disapproving looks and harassed. Last time my dad and I went to a range the Range Master walked over to me and gave me the third degree about my S12 before I fired the first round. It was in Tacoma Washington. I could use my larger magazines but couldn't load more than 10 rounds in them at a time. Afte

I gotta start with: Everyone, please don't get mad at me for being honest with opinions that many people here may disagree with... I am respectful and I hope all of you will be. I'm happy to have people disagree, it wouldn't be interesting if everyone said the same thing but there's no need to get pissed at me for respectfully thinking something against the grain... I LOVE my Saiga!! I personally think you should own one if at all interested and enjoy the hell out of it! I recommend the Saiga to many people. That said, Saiga for home defense in your unique situation MIGHT not be the b

I'll take 311 and 1169 and 1331 Thanks Mike!!

" ...just because Tapco pays to advertise here does not menn anything to me..." - Donkismash Wow... I was genuinely surprised to see that. Assuming "menn" = 'mean' of course. To the business members that are a part of this board: It means a lot to ME. I appreciate the help offered and the accountability for members I have seen here. If you have a similar product to a competitor that has nothing to do with this awesome forum then I will buy from YOU. Even if it costs a little bit more money. I do not know Tapco in any way, I'm not endorsing them, but they are members here and I r

I own 3 smoke drums and am supposed to have a 4th drum on the way (30 day thing after price drop) which I assume will come when the new run is finished. I had to do a lot of fitting, both A and B. I was surprised how much I had to file away because my gun just happens to have a narrow space between the edge of the mag cavity and the release lever BUT I really didn't mind. They are nice and tight and I would hate to have them arrive ready to lock but loose. I imagine they'd be loose in many other guns but I don't care, my drums are staying with me! If you're going to do something, do it ri

I took mine out the first time and it kicked surprisingly hard on Estate Target loads while the factory stock was on it. A week later I put a "Draganuv style" Thumbhole stock on it (looks nothing like the original Dragunuv rifle stock actually) and took it into the woods with a bunch of friends using the same Estate ammo and it was completely different. Way lighter kick. I had my friend's cheap pump that happened to have a similar stock to the factory Saiga stock, standard shotgun stock. Everyone was putting his down after a couple shots cause it hurt their shoulder and waiting in li

I cringe at the thought of putting any AR parts on my Saiga. I vowed that I wouldn't, but that Magpul UBR stock looks really good. I hope Magpul will make an AR stock similar to that someday. I like a lot of their stuff.

The guy you found on this report was booked in North Carolina and the D-bag here lives in Idaho but its possible he moved since 1990. Good find Luke. Either way, he has scammed people on a Neo Geo video game board, Gun Broker and on OUR site... He needs to be stopped. I think he apologized because he got caught red handed and doesn't want to get into legal trouble. Mike has been really busy and seems to have let it go but can we (Tony, or any others) do anything like press charges against this A-hole in Idaho? He can apologize to a judge or jury in my opinion. If you are assaulted an

Hey Underwood, ignore everyone getting on your case... Send your Saiga to ME and I'll "convert it for you" just mail it to me at your expense and I'll "send it back to you" converted... Eventually... I'll even supply all the parts, just send me your Saiga ASAP. I'll be waiting for your Saiga. PM me the tracking number so I know when it's coming. *Disclaimer: I am not responsible for damage to your firearm or if it gets lost in the mail or lost on the way to the post office. You assume all responsibility in sending me your S12 and expecting to get it back.

I can't believe this guy has been trying to scam parts out of respected business members so "HE" could do the conversion (he told Tony that "HE" was going to do multiple conversions) and then he asked for advice on the board of whom to send his 19" S12 so someone else could to do the actual conversion with the scammed parts! +1's for everyone from me! I have dealt with Mike personally (3 drums with a fourth still to come) and he's a standup guy. I hope to deal with Tony in the future and I feel bad he lost that hammer to this douche bag. I hope no other business members get scammed by t

To answer your question directly; Surefire over Promag. I think it would be hard for me to buy anything other than another MD drum right now since Mike dropped the price to $120!! Plus he guarantees his stuff. If you buy one and try it out and don't like it, return within 30 days. I bought two more last week. I am really looking forward to Mike's (MD) double stacks and Cameron's (Chaos) Mini-Drum! -Loveless

I'm pretty new to the S12 world but I love mine! I didn't know which ammo to get so I bought a case of every type of target 12 gauge ammo a booth at a local gunshow had... Some cheap and some expensive, for a "fair" comparison. Estate Game and Target load was my favorite by far! In addition to being less expensive than all the others, the recoil to damage ratio seemed fantastic. Especially since installing the "Dragunuv" style thumbhole stock that isn't actually a Dragunuv style at all, but I do love the look and feel. I have since bought a few more cases of Estate. I started with Estat
