So much for prone position. But hey, who needs to go prone when you've got a monopod. I challenge ya'll to make a mag that curls all the way up to the muzzle.
  2. Hey Azrial, I am choosing to withhold my opinion from this pissing match, but... What do you consider the ideal weapon for home defense, seeing as the S410 is such a piece of crap
  3. "Mine is a safe queen. I got it for the wow factor a few years ago... really? who needs an AK shotgun? I like my cheapo Mossberg 500 better." "NEEDS" Who the hell is this guy, one of Obama's minions. The gun grabbers say you dont "need" a 14 round mag in that Glock of yours! Rights have nothing to do with needs my friend. "The S-12 is a range toy. High capacity in a shotgun is overrated in the real world, especially with tube fed shotguns easily holding 6 to 9+1 rounds on tap." Realy, good luck manuvering that long-ass 9+1 tube fed shotty in my house. Oh, and after you shoot
  4. Dude, "man'd up?" not every gun owner is a gunsmith. And if you don't want your saiga to look like sh*t, you have to be pretty proficient in some uncommon skills such as welding, riviting, and reciever rifinishing. It's not an insult to your manhood to leave it to the professionals when you want a quality end result.
  5. Remove the gas plug and count your holes. From what I've read, three ports is standard on the newer run saigas. However, I purchased a saiga with two ports and it did not even come close to cycling Federal low-brass loads. But if you have not modified it, just call Cadiz gun works and ship it off for warranty work at no charge.
  6. Yes, I sent my Saiga to Cadiz about three weeks ago for warranty work and decided to have them do the conversion while I was at it. They gladly took my order but said that they were "backed up" until September (as of a little more than three weeks ago). But in this political climate, the wait times are not going to get any better so I would go ahead and get your name on the list.
  7. Yeah, that and the scope were the first things that caught my eye. Must be a bad joke I have a bipod on my Rem 700, but on a shotgun??? I can't think of anything more pointless. Would probably become a $50+ broken piece of junk after the first shot. Looks a bit tacky, but maby the builder had slugs in mind with the scope and bipod It is a "safari" version right
  8. Sorry for not stating my location, I'm in upstate South Carolina
  9. I just got a new saiga 12 and I'm looking forward to unleashing it's full potential by converting it. Although I concider myself gun-savy, I'm no gunsmith and don't fell confortable tackling this project myself. I have seen several businesses on this forum advertising conversion services (CGW, Tromix, etc.) for verying prices and options. In yall's opinion, who does the best conversion on an S-12 and who offers the best value. 'preciate it yall.
  10. Awsome Dude, Very cool, I love that handguard
  11. Kink of reminds me of a B.A.R. Awsome looking gun
  12. I selected other, this is because I would love to see a rem-choke adaptor comercialy avaliable soon. I have the barrel of my S12 stock as of right now but I may look into the factory chokes from saigastock.com By the way, has anyone had any experience with the factory chokes?
  13. I have always shot the el cheapo wal-mart crap (winchester universial) in my Remington 1100 20 gauge. The occasional stoppage in many years of use but overall no complaints for the price. However, I have not yet tried it in my S12, turns out I purchased a "vodka special" and have to wait on the warentee work.
  14. I'd probably go back to the home defense gun i've been using since I was eleven years old, My Remington 1100 20 gauge.
