  1. Shot quality ammo other than the target rounds. Im not too concerned if it doesnt shoot the weak bull shi* but it would be nice for it to cycle all types of ammo.. I thought I already checked the gas ports but I'll try again.. More than likely would you think it is a break in issue? Lets say it is a V special.. Do i send it back or what?
  2. Couldnt tell you how to search blocked gas holes?
  3. Took the new S-12 to the range to make sure everything is working good. The Buck Shot and slugs cycled perfectly.. The target loads however would not dicharge the spent shell casing.. It would fire just fine but not enough kick to discharge the used shell.. Do I have a semi auto weapon only for the heavy duty rounds and a bolt action for the lighter ammo? I made sure I changed the settings from 1 to 2 but it just couldnt spit out the target load rounds.. What can I do? Stick to the heavy duty? does the bolt need to be worked in to spit out the fired shell?
  4. Get it while you can women definitely change theirs minds often.. Get a Colt 1911.. A 9mm AR would be a good choice though... Your gonna have to get her pergnant anyway so you might as well get a toy out of it........... You could get a nice gun cabinet with that.....
  5. My 1st handgun purchase was the PT140 Millenium addition.. Got it in college when I had tight budget.. Its been a great compact 40 cal.. it does have a long trigger pull but its easy to get used to.. Mine still shoots great and works as a nice CC handgun... My buddy has an old model 92 9mm that he never cleans and shoots cheap ammo out of that fires perfect.. A lot of people hate on Taurus but Ive never had any problems and would reccomend these 2 weapons.....
  6. Im just trying to get an idea of how much this will cost me? Looking for products that will get the job done but not break the bank.. I want affordable products not cheap.. just wondering cost range? I'll Try to read some I reckon but still curious how much people have paid and what the have done?
  7. I can really only afford to convert one weapon at a time either my NIB Saiga-12 or my 7.62 x 39 that i've had for a while.. I did do some changes to the rifle mostly just bolt on bolt off stuff (pistol grip, stock, etc). I guess that shouldnt affect the decision... My question is if you could only afford to do one weapon which would you convert and why? Could I do a nice conversion for $200? what price range can I do a decent conversion for? Obviously I want to move the trigger group.. Not picky about the pistol grip or stock I just know I want to change that..(probably 103 style) Do You
  8. Go with the 7.62 x 39.. More of a traditional AK maybe get a longer barrel since your a bigboy....

    gas ports

Does it matter which way the gas puck goes back in? and I take it the 1 and 2 on thing that screws out is for pattern? You can put the puck back in any way you want. The 1 and 2 setting control the gas flow. According to postings here, your gas valve offers three settings -1, 1 and 2. The smaller the number, the least amount of gas injected into the cylinder. Meaning, lighter ammo (bird shot/target ammo) require a higher setting. I see.. Probably a little annoying but I dont know diddly about shotguns... thanks!
  12. dumb question... Does my bolt have to be in the open postion for the mags to fit in?... just a little different than my 7.62 so trying to figure it out...

Not sure if Im doing this right but I unscrewed the thing on the end of my gas tube and had the little piece fall out.. So then do I look through the gas tube to count the ports? It looks like the star of David... Am I doing it right? whats the correct termonolgy?
