  2. Mike, Drum arrived today - Thanks...... Can't wait for the double-stacks!
  3. It couldn't have been rigged, I never win anything. Thanks Mike!
  4. 1954 2525 3888 Thank you Mike!
  5. I'm in Kent, done 2 conversions - if you still need any help.
  6. I just purchased a Cannon (24 rifle) fire safe for $699 from Joe's. It may not be the best or most secure but my main objective is to not loose a major investment in firearms to fire - currently my guns are in those cheep metal box type safes.
  7. I went with the longest ACE stock and a 1/2" pad - I'm 6'5" and it fits me good. Only wish I could find a good cheek rest now.
  8. If your talking compliance, your good to go. I use the rule - 3 parts for plain barrel, 4 for theaded muzzle. If not, pimp it out as much as you want.
  9. I used the factory hammer on my second conversion - works fine. Saved me a lot of time filing on a Tapco too.
  10. Thanks for the response Cobra, was starting to think I was the only one.
  11. Wondering if anyone else has run into the same issue? The first time I went to change covers I found that I couldn't get the cover clip to seat. Got to the point were I was going to force it but managed to step back and really look at what was going on. Finally noticed that when I fully seated the back plate and secured it with the cover screws, the slot on the axis pin sets too high and the clip won't engage. The method that worked for me was: place cover lightly in place, put cover clip in position and press until slot is aligned and seat it, then last - lt install screws.
  12. Do it yourself. All you need are a dremel, hammer, ruler and a drill press (and U.S. parts). If you need rivets, I'll send you some.
