I love seeing people utilizing citizens arrest. Had that Law abiding CCW holder not of been there, the suspect may have disappeared and never have been caught, only to repeat more crimes. Sorry dude for your troubles. The police will have to do an investigation, and clear the fact that said gun was used as you say it was, and not in a manner otherwise stated. They will need solid facts to clear all alleged criminal wrong doing, like attempted murder and they will keep your guns until they are satisfied. I hope your buddy recovers fully and you recover your guns. Not to add insult to injury, but you should really be careful who you choose to go shooting with.

I have owned an XD-40 since 2006 and it is my ccw gun. I love that gun and all the features like the chambered round indicator etc. The gun feels good in my hand, is very accurate and solid. I've put well over 5000 rds through it with out a single hick-up.
