  1. GB, Sweet setup man! Very crafty work. T
  2. GB, You might try Stan Baker's Gun Shop in North Seattle a call, they are supposed to be shotgun experts? They were refered to me by a private gunsmith in Marysville by way of Discount Gunsales, when I was considering having the same thing done. both gunsmiths said they would have to ream out the chrome lining of the barrel if I wanted to go with internal chokes and that it would be very costly. Both said they had heard of Saiga, but had not had the pleasure of working on one. I am not certain about the whole process, because I am (-) on gunsmithing but I didn't want to subject my beau

    6500 RPM ? ? ?

+1 here 6500! Would you mind if I asked for a parts list or something along those lines. I have been looking at a lot of conversions and yours is the one that I would like to model my girl after. I am very interested in trying to duplicate your setup. Thanks, TC
  4. I'll disagree with you there. I've got one S-12 with a factory BHO, and one without. The only thing the BHO allows me to do is load an 8-round mag a little faster on a closed bolt. Loading a 5-round mag on a closed bolt is no problem with either gun. To make matters worse, the BHO doesn't engage about 1/3 of the time, and will come disengaged at the slightest bump or movement. I'm seriously considering pulling it out. If anything, I'll put notched safety levers in both guns. There is obviously something wrong with your BHO. I use mine for everything, and I can smack, pound, and practic

I have been waiting for a long time and all I know is that am gratefu
  6. I'm gonna try them on some clays, should be cool, but like I said, they are supposed to be 20" apart. As far as looks, I've had nothing but good response. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> GB69, Quit making excuses and go shoot that thing! It's a SAIGA! You must not be from here, you know we have webbed feet and hands in the NW. Cabela's rules! I am in Everett, not too far from you. Do you ever go out to Sultan to shoot? If so give me a holler and I'll be there. PS Your Girl(Shotty) looks HOT, she's very impressive. TC <{POST_SNAPBACK}> LOL, yea I

  8. I don't think that photo is accurate: (EDITOR'S NOTE: The Russian firearm seized yesterday at the International Bridge may not look exactly as shown. If it is Hmmmm. T
  9. Grau, No disrespect, and yes I know it is blasphemy to all the convertee's out there. But there are some who would rather not modify the gun and try to leave it as stock as possible. I personally would like to have the option to convert my stock back just in case I end up in a State/Country that does not allow a converted shotgun with a clip on it. That is why I am trying to secure a second Saiga so that i can have one that is stock and one that is converted, both with folders. Just my .10+.05 T
  10. Griz, Sounds like fun! I am a fearin for da wabbits! Let me know what you think of the range you are going to. I would be interested in checking it out sometime with my brother. Enjoy, T

    RED SIGHTS

Griz, What did Stan's quote you to do the choke? What region is your constructive recycling center in? My Bro and I usually go the one in Sultan, but we have been looking for another place that is closer to him in the south end past or around Kent where he lives. We would love to hookup and plink sometime if you are interested. Right now I am working on making some exploding targets out of left over fireworks. Nothing big just a little something that goes boom when you shoot it. T
  12. Hunter, Do you have any Pic's of what's on the block? T
  13. It could be the calm before the storm....... Of mags being imported again? Just a funny.
  14. Froggie, What kind of stock is that? Where did you git it? How much did it cost? What did it take for you to modify it to fit your S12? T
  15. It would be really cool to have a folding stock with a pistol grip that you could put on in place to the sporting stock for those of us who do not wish to move our trigger assembly. T
