  1. What are the differences in the different models? How do I tell them apart by looking at them since the only ones that I can find right now are on gunbroker and most do not list the model and cannot tell me when asked. I have a 5.56 suppressor already that I would like to use with this rifle as well with a Q.D. Flash suppressor. Thanks.
  2. Mine is a 9" with a Poly Choke II screw on choke. I use a Magpul ergonomic front grip because the mags and drum had clearance issues with the short pistol grip that I first tried. I actually think I like this better than a pistol grip after getting used to it. I even ended up using the same grip on my AK.
  3. First off, let me explain why I want to find out anonymously. I am going into law enforcement and the last thing i want to do is make waves with my potential future boss. My local sheriff is retiring and has signed 6 permits for me in the past no problem. I have never even talked with the man. I have asked about the permits to some of the candidates campaign staff but they do not know anything about them. They want to get my name, address, and phone to get back with me but i have not given it out yet. I have researched them on their websites with no luck and all of them require full conta
  4. Man fatally shot at shooting range. The range advertizes safe and family friendly...wow. With so many inexperienced shooters going to ranges its bound to happen the way that they stack you on top of each other in the lanes. So sad. Go to the range to have some fun and lose your life. http://m.kltv.com/ms/p/a3/117/view.m?id=124279&storyId=15878105&news=More&news2=Texas%20Headlines&url=http://amp.silverchalice.co/raycom/api/query?id=50703
  5. Ya he built the gun for me. I was so worried when i first got it because it ran like crap but it just needed to be broke in and converted. Now the gun is absolutely insane! She is my Zombie Killer for sure.
  6. Its a 20 rd drum and the barrel extension cost me $100 with my gunsmith supplying the barrel. As far as cycling goes, there is no such thing as a jam With my gun and almost all i run through it are the cheap walmart winchester birdshot shells. It spits out high brass loads just as well.
  7. my gunsmith made it for me. Jim Rogers from Longview Class III Arms (903) 918 0140. He supplied the barrel not sure where he got it...probably from a previous SBS job.
  8. not pretty but effective. 9" SBS with removable Poly Choke II 14" Extension that I can add the Poly Choke II
  9. will yall be stocking the saiga AK's anymore? I wanted to get some last time you had them on sale but missed them before you ran out of stock.
  10. I am just trying to decide if a bullpup AK can be modified with a trigger that I will be happy with. My gunsmith is telling me that there is not much you can do for them other than using a stiffer wire and that he thinks that I will not be happy with it. I really want a set of them (AK-47, AK-74, and Saiga 12) but if the triggers suck as bad as what I am hearing, then I am better off just doing a SBR setup. I was really hoping that someone had developed an aftermarket dropin replacement to fix the problem or at least a really good kit. With all of the Saiga and AK enthusiasts here as well
  11. Has anyone used a bullpup with one these thicker wires? Is the trigger comparable to good conventional triggers with rate of fire and reliability? Are there any other options available other than using thicker wire? I cant believe no one has developed a mechanical trigger replacement. Thanks for the help
  12. Surely someone out there has developed a mechanical trigger replacement or someting else instead of that horrible cable? Any ideas? I am really wanting to get started asap. Thanks.
  13. I am essentially done with the Saiga and it is unbelievable. The choke is removable and the only thing not pictured that I have that goes with it is a 14" barrel extension. I can screw the extension on the end of the barrel and the choke on the end of the extension to end up with a shotgun that I can hunt with and shoot skeet with. The only thing is that it looks terrible so I am not about to post a pic. Now before any of you give me any grief about the recoil pad...I have had major shoulder reconstructions on both of my shoulders so I have had to modify all of my guns to tone down the recoil.
