  1. I prefer my chili proportions as follows: 100% meat, 50% meat, 0% beans, and 62% meat. Mmmmm, meat on top of meat with a side of meat. That does sound good.
  2. I just got my first KA-BAR and it looks like it will cut my Glock knife in half

makes you feel like taking care of business doesn't it? No question why it has killed so many over so many years.

Smart man. I have two and love them both.

I love my KA-BAR, have a classic one with the old leather handle, awesome knife. I have one of their Kukri's too, nasty machete.

  3. What!?! How can you have chili with out beans Now that I think about it though, there must be a proper proportion of beans and meat. Something like 25% beans 70% meat and the rest should be hot stuff. And that hot stuff better be real hot. You know, the snotty looking stuff in mexican food.
  4. evlblkwpnz says the stock is "8 15/16" long from the reciever and 8 3/4" long from the reciever block" per a PM I had with him. And that was noy including the pad. I have no clue how long the Tapco is so I can't comment on that.
  5. This AGP looks like a good choice and probably what I will end up getting.
  6. I agree with most of what was said here. If you start shooting with out being able to prove you where feering for your life, than the bad guy's fammily will come after you and you might go to prison. If you miss and hit an inocent, you will go to prison. In some states if you have an opertunity to run away and choose to stay and shoot some one, you still might be charged. I have little training in high stress situations trying to shoot and it is a lot more dificult than I expected, and I wasn't faced with an armed gunman. Just stuff to think about before pretending your Dirty Hairy and go shoo
  7. A good 24 hour and 72 hour bag set up would be good too. That can get a little more spendy.
  8. And perhaps a Dana 44 under the front and some 37" tires? If it has a 4.3 V6 the 350 will bolt right up, but it will eat a 4L60 tranny quick.
  9. the first version, yes. There are plans to have it autorelease the bolt, but not at this time in production, so no....it wont release automatically with this run of the part.... Will both versions be available at some point, or is it just the first run of kits?
  10. Yup, flat. The round ones are round all the way around the bottom. The flats have the flat cut out.
  11. I prefer the left because if you had to it could be fired, unless your running an optic mount like L5K said than you are stuck with the right side.
  12. Congrats on your first handgun. The Glock triggers aren't the best ever, which might be effecting your shot as well. But once you get used to it you'll be fine. If you can, try and shoot a 1911 or something with a really nice trigger and you will see what I mean.
  13. I have never been a Glock fan, until recently when I decided to get a G19. This gun is so nice to carry, I don't know if I will ever go back to the 1911 or FNP. There is no levers or sharp stuff hanging off the sides to catch on anything and it's small and light. I wanted a cheap plinker too and came out with it being my daily carry. I don't think you will go wrong with the 19, but as others have stated for a little more cash you could have 2 guns in 1.
  14. Results. Got my gun back from CGW. no go with original gas plug. put in the gunfixers and it works fine. Did some polishing and converted it, and it couldnt be better. not one fte. thanks to all for the advice. Any pics, or video?
  15. Got SBR approval paperwork, (bullshit that shouldn't be necessary , but that's a whole different thread), through? Congrats. It's still pending, but the process has begun. Well I tried a bunch of ammo and no luck, maybe I got a bad one. Nice collection, that camo mosin looks a lot better than my rattle can black one haha! I thought putting a stock on a pistol made it an SBR? Thanks, I was bored one day and had some spray paint so I rattle canned my Mosin too. Yes it will be an SBR, my first NFA toy.
  16. A couple of my buddy"s have GSG's and had the same issues for the first 500 rounds or so. Try different kinds of ammo to find the sweet spot. They are fun little plinkers. Here's a pic of my collection earlier this year. It's a little different now and should change some more in a couple months(the Draco is getting a butt stock).
  17. The clause isn't supposed to make sense; it's supposed to keep people from obtaining a permit. What you listed is exactly what they use to deny permits. Yeah, and it's a total crock. But as long as we have yahoos attempting to run the show, it's gonna be nothing but more shit that makes no sense. "Please demonstrate your need for a tax refund." You - "Uhm... What???" Yes, but this suit seeks an injunction against the enforcement of such laws. Hopefully the court rules in his favor, and if they do, these laws will be on their way out. So I read. I can only hope they rule in
  18. Inception was pretty crazy. Go see it.

That's what I heard, haven't gone to see it yet, but everyone is saying how amazing of a film it is.

I thought it was good. If you have seen Momento (same director) than you will see resemblances in the two movies.

  19. If used as directed, linux is 99.999% impervious. There is no accounting for the user's discretion, though (this is how they've been infecting OS X machines - getting the user to install the crap themselves). -Shooter- if you need any further help, you can email me from here. Hmmm, I didn't realize there was a specific way to run Linux. I'll have to check it out. I haven't downloaded any thing on Linux though.
  20. I have both Vista and Linux on my laptop and the Linux seems to be having issues. I thought that OS was some what impurviouse to viruses but I guess not. I had a similar pop up virus on my desktop and using the free windows anti-virus made it dissapear. I haven't had much luck with AVG, but some of my friends have.
  21. Looks like TheVestGuy is making a vest soon too.
  22. Awesome, I'll take 9999, 6321, and 500. Thanks Mike.
  23. I'm curious about this myself. Where are all of the Ultimak/Aimpoint T1 guys? Does any one think the 4MOA dot is too big for 200 yards.
  24. The test consist of shooting a few rounds at about 15 feet and the class is not difficult to pass at all. You can even use notes if I remember correctly. I don't think that a CCW permit makes you more safe, I think common sense and proper safety training for firearms should be taught to you as a kid and if not, teach yourself as an adult. I was raised in an anti-gun home and shot my first gun at around 15 years old. The guy that took me said "don't point it at me" and I listened. It's not hard to be safe, but it is hard for me to listen to some one who is fine with restricting our constitution
