  1. Howdy, so I have picked up a few saiga's to convert and some of these have some wear and i wanted to restore finish, etc. I have a nice paint that i really like, but my question is the writing / serial number. How are you guys keeping these looking good? The paint finish looks great but kinda covers the writing. Do you etch it back out after the paint cures?
  2. Howdy, looking for a dust cover / top cover? Can anyone help? Thanks
  3. i run ar mags fine, it fires perfectly. The 100rd mag im trying to you is the after market one for like $150. its no able to lock all the way up because the sides of the MSA adapter hits the sides of the drum on each side. I tried taking out part of the drum materail but cant get it to fit right. was just trying to see if anyone had any luck with such parts.....lol There is no real practical use for it, was just trying something for fun.
  4. Ok, So I bought the MSA ar15 mag adapter and a 100rd ar15 mag and apparently the clearances aren't there...lol The MSA adapter isn't long enough down to let the 100rd mag lock in. Anyone tried this combination yet with any luck????
  5. Does anyone make a but stock with the springs in it for the saiga12 like blackhawk makes for the mossbergs?? Anything similar? Its fun to shot slugs and OO Buckshot and still have a shoulder left!
  6. Just needed to remove a little material and they lock tight. Went to the range yesterday and they both work amazing! Finally promag!!!
  7. I just bought a ProMAG 12rd and 20rd drum today and when I got home to clipped them in, they were both to small to stay in??? Am I missing something? Do i need to buy any part or how do i modify them to fit??
  8. yeah will be nice to see his drums. I wanted to try a pro mag 12rder that i heard were actually amazing, but they can't be found either!! crazy the demand now a days. Ordered a gunfixers plug, new pucks, and a lighter spring. will be nice to see if i can shoot the cheaper ammo now......
  9. Ok, so I just bought a Saiga 12 19" and did the conversion, and now looking into muzzle breaks. Can you still shoot buck shot and bird shot or only slugs with a muzzle break?? I wasn't sure and did want to look like a jack@ss at the range..... Also is there any other REAL advantage to the muzzle breaks besides their looks?
  10. Nope. Its the bullet guide hitting the tip of the bullets square on. Like the mags not coming up high enough. I kind of got past them hitting the bullet guide but they get jammed going forward....
  11. its like the angle with the pmag is off but the AR mag adapter seems to fit perfect???? any help?
  12. yes it is. just got my bullet guide in from dinzag but having issues with the bullets touching the ramp and not being about it to feed. How do i fix this issue???
  13. Just got my AR mag adapter and fit it to my rifle. Its amazing! just need to install the bullet guide and its ready to rock! Also just ordered all my conversion parts so i can finish the conversion and have it done in a week This has been a fun gun and a awesome project. Need a way better scope but this gun shoots spot on!!
  14. so you can be gay and talk about a possible dead thread but was just looking for insight. Thx jerk
