  1. I would consider you to be "qualified", can't speak for the Appleseed people. Now, I am not meaning to be a smart-a$$ as I am relatively new here, and I think the Appleseed program is a good thing. I just don't need anyone telling me I'm qualified or not because I didn't go through this program... no offense intended to anyone...sorry if I came off that way...carry on...
  2. Well, that's good then, I am already a "Rifleman" after qualifying expert for the first 16 years of my military service. I hope that doesn't sound smart a$$y...
  3. "In short, a rifleman is an armed American, trained in the tradition of American Liberty. It's a man who has learned to shoot a rifle accurately — accurate enough to score "expert" on the Army Qualification Course. Until you can do that, you're considered a "Cook," unprepared and unqualified to carry a rifle on the firing line of freedom. But after attending an Appleseed AQT shoot, you'll have the credentials necessary to be a true rifleman, and will understand the critical need for defending freedom in this country." What is that all about? Since when do I need credentials to carry a fire
  4. This is the PSL M/B, but I don't know the thread size or where they can obtained from.
  5. The rifle is awesome. I like the muzzle-device you used, but was wondering if during your work, did you consider a PSL type MB? and if so, do you know of any sources for them? I am going to convert my S308 also to a Saiganov, but want to use a PSL type brake. Thanks
  6. What do you use for axis pins when re-installing the trigger (or the link)? I am un-converting a S.410, however the original pins are now too short to be re-peened. Mine have a flat head on one end (both holes in the rcvr are same size). I have some pins, where apparently one hole is smaller than the other side(of the rcvr), I think there was a difference in mfg (RAA vs EAA?) anyway, your advice is appreciated.
  7. Could anyone put me onto whom ever was modifing G2 FCG's to work in unconverted Saigas (.410's) Thanks
  8. Sounds like fun. I think I might try sometime if I can get my S.410 back together. Waiting for parts. Is yours converted or stock? and how well do the mags work?
  9. Crikey!, you have hit the rivet on the head. Mucho thanks! My naked and lonely .410 thanks you....
  10. Thanks, but I'm really looking for up-close photographs. Got see where the parts go, especially the little gray part that rides on the disconnector pin and the BHO spring.
  11. Been searching, can't find. Need good, clear pics of the inside of an uncoverted .410 reciever and/or exploded views. Any help is appreciated. Thanks
  12. I will assume this project is still alive. What would the cost be if I supply the US made FCG? Would you need any other parts? One problem I have is missing the plate under the trigger guard. Any suggestions? Thanks
