  1. No, if you watch the vid you will see me transition straight from the 12 rnd promag, to the 20 rnd promag, to the MD 20. Earlier I was running through the surefire 12 rnd box mags on the same gas setting. The only gas mods to this gun is the gunfixer adjuster, and a HEAVIER recoil spring (more force because it's an over-gassed 4 hole-er). Thanks , I have to change my gas setting to 2 in order to use my MD20, and I tried the gunfixer gasplug with no luck. I will have to look into the promag drum.
  2. Did you have to change the gas setting to use them?
  3. ...and in another news we have this...http://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2009/11/16/izhmash-prototype-of-the-updated-ak-big-news/like the previous poster said ,is Russia it will never go out of business.
  4. That's beautiful... Happy and successful 2010 for you as well .
  5. I am using one on my SLR95 and is working fine , My friend is using one on his FN SLP shotgun and it have been holding fine too after several full power loads. I 'll probably get on for my S12.
  6. Where are they made ?Are they reliable? for some weird reason I even thou I have an MD drum and two AGP 10 rounders I dig the original mags and these replacements have a decent price. Any info will be appreciated. Thanks guys
  7. If you have the guns and ammo you need the support gear and training then .................ZOMBIES lots and lots of ZOMBIES.
  8. +1 on the federal with flite control wad.
  9. I have used some red dots in the past that now sit in my closet or I have gotten rid of. IMO, nothing compares to the Eotech. I just don't think that the Eotech is the right application for this weapon. The glare is key to me. I have used some where you can't even see the dot because of glare or reflection. That is a big concern for me and that's why I always ask the question. Do you have any problems like that in ALL lighting conditions with the Konus? Seeing that you use it for competition shooting, I'm sure the target acquisition has got to be quick which I am looking for. Definit
  10. Well the TT MAV chest rig set up cost is about $250 approx. The TAG plate carrier about $325. plus the rifle plates I paid $400 for my plates, you can get some decent plates for $200-$250, I got the plate carrier in one of the TAG sales with a 50% discount. The first line belt cost is about $200 to $250 including the holster. Keep in mind that I bought everything over time and piece by piece .Just make sure to think about what you really need in a practical rig.
  11. +1 on HSGI they make great gear in MC.Tactical Tailor is good to go as well ,I use HSGI,Tact.Tailor ,ICE tactical, Emdom and TAG products. TAG plate carrier,HSGI universal pouches TT utility pouch used as an IFAK emdom 4o6 pistol mag pouch, and TT hydration pouch. first line gear (Actually I have updated with a MC ICE belt and a Gcode
  12. I have two surefire scouts one with a MALKOFF upgrade that I used on my AR's and AK's a G2L for my remington 870 ,But I have been considering these one( http://www.primaryarms.com/product.sc?productId=40&categoryId=11 ) for a dedicated light for my S12 once I get it back from Keith at TAC-47.
  13. In the last picture posted by REDCELL, I noticed the muzzle flash suppressor/brake. What make is that? Is it more a flash suppressor or a muzzle brake with the feature of holding the end of the rifle down a bit more? I think that is a surefire MB556K. So I assume that the barrel was threaded to 1/2 * 28 ,According to all the reviews the MB556K makes for a great muzzle break.
