How are you mounting it? This is an important factor as to weather or not I would recommend one, I use the FF3 and recommend it.

Another benefit to the Trijicon, which I have on the 30, is that in complete darkness the glow makes it fairly easy to see and reach for the gun sitting on a table or the floor. I installed mine a few years back with a brass punch, simple.
