Definately do some reading on the e-cigs. some are placebos and only work for those that have the physical/mental addiction (ie have something in their hands to mouth addiction), the ones with actual nicotine works for the physical/mental as well as the chemical. It was so deep that it went through the layer of subcutaneous fat, otherwise superglue might have been an option.

As deep & as wide as it was superglue would not hold.

As it is, I had to hold it together with 3 steri-strips, then start at an end & pinch it the rest of the way together & "stitch" 1 at a time to get it closed up.

I missed 2 days of work because I couldn't bend my knee while sitting is the most annoying part.

The Russians & MD-20s always ran well, but the surefires were collapsed, needed more spring & followers were too small, the AGPs needed sanding & tuned springs, & the ProMag. OMG, lets not even go there...

So no luck involved. Just blood, sweat & tears.

Unless one considers getting every possible defect the platform has to offer, so I can figure how to fix them "lucky"

thats funny. I usually use my factory mag with no issues and recently bought a 12round surfire and now have FTE's and situations where the round will get stuck in the round guide-those two teeth like tabs that guide the round into the barrel. its really quite annoying.

well not really FTEs, but forsure round jams.

Dude...I have a friend similar and it really gets on my nerves. He seems to haev to make a point to announce how I have 5k rounds of ammo for his AK!! and an arsenal of guns stashed. I bought a bunch of chuck keys at Harbor Freight for about a buck each. One is attached to my drill press with a chain, another is nearby on the workbench, and the remainder are in a bag in a toolbox somewhere for when one of the other two gets lost somehow.

I bought a metal retracting keyring with chain & attached it to the belt shroud & attacher the key to it.

It took about 10 min.

Considering all the time searching for the things, I can't believe it took me so long to break down & do it.

It's different now though now that Time really is money

While I was replacing the BHO spring after doing the FCG conversion the spring just disappeared. I searched for over 2 hours on under and behind everything (including myself) within 15 feet of where I was working. I finally gave up and ordered a new one. I found it a week later 25 feet away in plain sight. I know I didn't have near enough tension on the spring for it to travel that far.

Mine was a PPB gloc, but the only extra markings were the LE/GVT use only markings on the mag because it was mad during the AWB.

Detroit PD flooded the market with .40S&Ws, there cheap as all get out and still have the markings. GB has a ton of'em for sale

As for the AIWB, I don't like carrying to the front.

I like the "go for the wallet, get a pistol instead" move.

Also, I REALLY like the gun being fully independant of the need for a holster.

Holsters add thickness.

Holsters can be seperated from the gun, then you're mexi-carrying & it could be awkward if it drops down your pant leg at the wrong time.

The Glock clip sets the gun just as low as the AIWBs that I saw when I googled them.

I see the advantage of disrupting the shape of a possible print, but the added thickness is a BIG draw back to me.

I already buy size 40 pants Then replace the buttons with button snaps in the original spots, then add another male snap 2" to the right, for when I cant carry. so my pants fit right. Like when at work in acute psych... We don't even let police in our unit with firearms. It would be like bringing a gun in a jail... Bad idea.

A thicker holster would require yet larger pants to be comfortable.

Naaaaaah, nothing wrong with driving a Prius, just depends on your reasoning. If you're driving it because you think you're saving the environment and your farts smell awesome, totally on board with fuck you. If you're driving a Prius because Toyota makes reliable cars, and that one also gets good fuel economy and has a realistic sticker price, go you. Plus, they're ninja cars at low speed - the engine won't kick on unless the battery's low if you're going 10MPH...

Prius's are today's version of the VW Beetle except they lack the charm of the Beetle.

You're on the freeway & everybody's doing 65, but then there's the Prius doing 50 mph.

At least the Beetles had an excuse, they were rrather slow, but the prius can keep up with traffic if the driver wanted to, they just want to go slow as hell to try to get the maximum economy.
