  1. Dogsitting for the weekend for the folks while they steam through Puget Sound & up to Victoria Island B.C. "Sox" Is now 16 years old, still 130 lbs, but can't walk too well. Strange seeing my old friend that I knew from a pup as an old man.

      Paulyski

Yeah, the guy's about deaf, has trouble walking, takes pain meds & seems to be having vision trouble, but still the same happy-go-lucky pooch as always.

These are a Godsend for the big guys when they get older.

  2. US made 5 axis mill (6 if you count the added round milling table) hits the shop early next week! Some really cool things are about to come into fruition...

The mill is the only machine capable of making a duplicate of itself. Have fun!

  3. Working on a set of 4 Icerack, GlassBolts & left Side Chargers for a great guy in NY! They're coming out sweet!

  4. For this setup, just the carrier work, no bolt is currently $235 shipped. :)

      Not sure what type.

Small, but it'll do a few jobs I need it for.

I'll still need a larger one for moving gas blocks on full length barrels from what I understand.

I've surprized him with a Generator,Truck & Boat in the past, so he figured he'd return the favor. :)

  7. Matt 24:36.... But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.... 7:15... Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

  8. GlassBolt & IceRack just got even better! More reliable AND more beautifully finished! Pauly's Stoked!

      Oh hell-yeah!

      My Rifle GlassBolts are spectacular.

I pattern the profile after the true AK bolt to get rid of all the squared edges that Izmash leaves.

      The end result's really nice.

      I can IceRack anything...

Someone's even supposed to send me a chainsaw bar to do for a chainsaw he's customizing.

      I do a hell of a job on 410s & S-20s too.

      The bolt in the triangle to the left in this pic is from an S-20;

  13. Been spending every waking moment working to make other's guns nice so I don't have time for my own projects... Been wanting to turn that SxS into a coachgun & restore it, but no time.... So I said screw it & just picked up a polished nickel Stoeger CoachGun Supreme.... Pauly's appetite for "pretty" is satisfied for a while, so back to work.

      Stoeger - great for clays

You'll love that little coach gun. I have the standard blued model and there isn't much more fun to be had than letting both barrels go at once and watching your target vaporize.

      Damn good price too.

  14. I go to get my hair cut & the place has a new guy... A white haired gentleman in a white shirt likely in his 70's... Yes... An actual barber! It was great! All I had to say was "a normal haircut tapered in the back" & he actually knew what I wanted. You don't realize how much you miss old school barbers until you're stuck with "hair stylists".

    1. JohnnyBmore

      JohnnyBmore

I miss my old barber $15 for a cut & a hot shave.

Real Barbers are a dying breed.

  18. Just learned why most ads that say "free shipping" actually say "Free shipping within CONUS"..... Just shipped up to Alaska, I look at the fed-ex recipt & realize that after shipping, consumables, packing meterials etc... I actually did a Glassbolt for $20.00! Well.... Live & learn... Guess I need to change my ads..

    1. Paulyski

      Paulyski

I looked at the package the guy sent me & paid $7 & some change for postage & likely a few bucks for sig-req & delivery confirmation (he's building a shorty, so he had already removed the operating rod).

I didn't even think about it & shipped fed-ex home delivery, with an $800.00 stated value & sig-req, & it ran me close to $40.00.

I had kept the fee at the sale price of $65 because he first responded during the end of s...

    2. Paulyski

      Paulyski

...sale & If anyone first responded in PM during the sale, I extended the price to them regardless of when they shipped if they asked.

      Well, live & learn...

From this point on, all shipments to Alaska & Hawaii will be shipped USPS flat-rate.

    3. Black3

      Black3

Unless it absoluly has to be here tomorrow, then USPS is the only way to ship to Alaska. As often as not the premium freight is in the same airplane's belly as the USPS. UPS 2nd Day takes 2-5 days to urban AK usually and costs two or three times as much as USPS. Priority Mail will get to urban AK in 3-5 days from anywhere in CONUS; my kid was getting pkgs. from Juneau to Afghanistan in 7-10 days.
