  1. I'm not sure where you live or the hunting laws there, but any soft point or expanding round between 147 and 180 grain should be fine. in Cali FMJs are not legal to hunt with.
  2. I use a BSA panther 2.5-10x44mm with finger adjustable turrets that was purchased from Sportsmansguide.com for 49.99 but I think they dropped it to 39.99 but compares at over 150.00. I have mine mounted on a Leapers dust cover mounted picatinny that I got from cheaper than dirt for 15 bucks + shipping. Great spot on optics and a rock solid mount for under 100 bucks. Can't beat it. I went with the dust cover mount because my side mount broke off after about 5 rounds. I guess the 308 is a little to beefy for it.
  3. If I had my druthers, I'd have a Magpul precision shooting stock. But the Tapco was the only option at first. The nice rubber pad is much preferred over the factory plastic stock in my opinion.
  4. Where is the Fire Control Group? If it is touching the mag release, it is converted. If it is at the rear of the receiver, it is not. Also, if the pistol grip is connected to the receiver, it is, if it is mounted to the stock, it is not. Hope this helps.
  5. The first one is before the FCG conversion.
  6. Before many accessories and FCG conversion

  11. Unless it is specifically listed by make AND model, it is NOT illegal in KKKalifornia. The ONLY Saigas listed and banned are Kalashnikov USA Saigas. RAA Saigas are fine as long as they are stock configuration or have a magazine lock (for converted rifles). Any FFL saying that Saigas are a gray area and won't transfer them is a retard and needs to study up on the state laws. Keep your eyes open and study up . You can always call CA DOJ if you have any questions. They usually call back if you leave a message.
  12. I live in KKKalifornia and own a converted Saiga 308. I have a Raddlock installed and wouldn't change a thing. Most shooters never have a need for fast 1 handed mag changes at the range. If you think you need to have the option for a fast mag change for home defense, buy a pistol which would be much more suitable for the job. If having a raddlock is the only way to have a pistol grip, forward grip, collapsible stock and flash hider, then I'll put one on every AK variant I can get my hands on in this NAZI state we call California. Most people that vote on these ridiculous laws here don't reali
  13. Any news on the FSB break/hiders? I am furiously interested in one. I just finished my FCG conversion and am ready for a break/hider to complete the rifle. I appreciate the fantastic work that KA does so please dont charge me an Idiot tax for asking
  14. can this be done to the saiga 308 Talk to Brian at Dinzagarms.com. He should be able to help you out with any and all Saiga questions.
  15. If I had the money I'd but it, it looks very nice and has a bunch of extras. My 22" 308 has about $850-900 total into it and it isn't even converted yet. (new trigger guard and pistol grip nut and screw on the way from Dinzag, waiting for more $$ to get the FCG) I hope to have it done by the end of the year. If this one is still available in a few weeks (which I doubt) I would love to pick it up.
  16. Mayba a barrel clamp bipod? Maybe a barrel clamp bipod?
