Next two pistols on my list are the G29 and a Sig P220. I wish Sig made an internal striker, and something in 10mm.

The T6 is a good stock, but If you are trying to shoot for the best accuracy the rifle can achieve or build the most solid battle ready rifle you can, you'll probably want to find something a little more solid. Its a good stock and all and will hold up to the .308s recoil just fine, but like others have said, there are nicer options available. You don't see Tromix using em, I'm just sayin...

If you want great info, go to the CADOJ's web page and find the link called "Assault weapons guide" and give it a read through. I believe its on page 71/72 that has all the characteristics of all assault weapons (rifle, shotgun and pistol). It has helped me out once or twice.

I lost my handguard retainer screw for my factory handguard and I was wondering if anyone had an extra one or knows the size and thread pattern so I can find one at the hardware store. Thanks in advance!

I dont remember the brand but it retailed for about $80. I bought two of them a few years back, 1 for my S308 and 1 for my Remington 700, but I only used one of them. It is a 6-9" and very solid and quick and easy to adjust and remove.

They are perfectly legal here in CA. As long as its not an early EAA Saiga (European American Armory was the importer before RAA). You just have to follow the laws and make sure it doesn't have any features listed on the CADOJ's assault weapons guide. If you want a Saiga shotgun. it can NOT have a folding or collapsible stock and must have a magazine lock. If you want a converted rifle, you must have a magazine lock as well. Read the laws on the CADOJ web page and know them for yourself, then you'll be able to educate those jack-nobblers that are spreading bullshit like herpes.

ha i just got done watching fear and loathing in las vegas i love that freaking movie man! Yeah i tried it on both settings it did the same. It doesnt have 4 holes it has 3 but they are a little obstructed and too small apparently. Fear and Loathing is one of the best movies ever made! OK, I re-read your post and I get what you were saying, no 4th hole and the 3 that ARE there are too small... gotcha. Yeah, you're going to have to address that. Did you make sure that your gas knob was on setting 2 when you were shooting the target loads? My gun would FTE and stove pipe the first few times I took it to the range, but with a little bit of polishing contact surfaces, a Gunfixer gas adjustment knob and some boxes of buck and slugs to break her in, she runs (as Pauly puts it) "like a raped ape". Now I take her out and shoot clays with my buddies and they are more than impressed with my sexy Russian beauty. Good luck and dont get discouraged.
