  1. tantal is the place to get your sights..........ask anyone who has delt with him, there is no one friendly'er,with best price,or great service.anything cheaper would be painting a liitle red dot on your eyeglass lens........
  2. imo ,if i am going to point a gun at someone .......there will be a reason(a threat).and if i am going to point a gun at them,it is to kill them.non-lethal rounds have a far less chance to kill someone........so say you do hit your freindly houshold intruder with one of thoose non-lethal rounds, you take him down, think about the law suit you get from the dirt bag.ok you are doing your"exterme"bean bag game.......and hit someone and do bodly injury?........i know he is your buddy and it was just a game..........he won't try and sue you either!and hell, when it gets right down to it...........if
  3. i have a stock hold open, and i will not keep open on last shot.i have heard that holding open aids in mag changing.i have never tried to change mag with closed.but being to be held open is a nice feature.the sound of handle slamming foward on a full mag is cool to
  4. please tell me what kind of gun you were shooting.was it a 22"barrel?open sights?standing?i would be pleased with that kind of group.......but it is the person behind the trigger right?
  5. 1.used .125 piece of steel stock for the washer.used the stock mount for template 2.uncle mikes part#1001-2 for all other parts 3.the post in the kit i shortened alittle more that .302" 4.rear mount just replaces the stock one. hope this helps!!!
  6. thanks Makc,i'll take it out tonight after work. i'll look again on "the other fourm"for the correction(as of early evening last night i didn't see that correction) thats why i need to take it out myself i guess.and see if i can sighfer it out .lol
  7. i made a steel washer so i could use a post.that way i've got more options of slings and mount a bipod.
  8. on another fourm,#1 was light loads#2was mags.so if i wanted to take out the plug to see how it regulates,i'm guessing lefty loosey till its full out?(depress the lock pin and turn ccw).better to ask stupid question than make stupid mistake.
  9. thanks for the info.......just what i needed!now i cant wait to bump her cherry!!!!!!!!
  10. how is it done?did i miss it in the owners manual?do i put a piece of metal in the two slots at the end and turn?i saw a post somewhere.....but can't find it now!i don't want to shoot it till i know how it works.is #1 for light loads and#2 for mags?i've heard that one setting will cycle harder, causing quicker wear?any help would be great!!! and rear sight post on mine is slightly cocked to the right.is this normal?can i put an ak style rear with the elevated front.all else fails.......i've got a korba that i can put on.thats means a new scope for the vepr!!

i second that!doug is the best when it comes to service and prices. have delt with him several times,he's the first person i check with when i need something. his website is very well done also, with tons of great info. highly recommend!!!!! oh,btw......my saiga12 got here the other day.i just got her cleaned up last night and all back together. came in cardboard box with oil bottle, tool kit, cleaning rod,one clip, and manual. eveything looked good, bolt was a little tricky to get back in.after a couple of times will probley get easier. looks like someone sandstoned the serial number,is
  12. information was very helpful.thank you.
  13. my sag12 is on her way! just a few questions 1. on the russian models i see that the trigger is closer to the mag(receivers are different?) 2. with that said, come 12:01 04 what would a pistol grip and different stock look like? 3. were can i get acc for the theaded barrel? 4. do the American models have sight mounts on the side so i can use my Kobra? i guess that will do for now till she gets here!
