I have shot the 500 many times. It is a joy to shoot and recoil is not bad at all. I have shot several 357 mags that hurt my hand way worse. Love the 500.

I have had a fenix TK10 for 4 yrs. Bought it after my old g2 bit the dust after only a yr. I have beat the piss out of the fenix and it is still going strong. Can't go wrong with fenix.

That rifle is pretty sexy. Good job. I wish I would have known about that mag well. Totally would have changed my mind about a few purchases. Congrats.

My daughter is 4yrs old and we have little self defense training sessions all the time. Last night after work she and her 2yr old brother wanted to attack Daddy. She punches and kicks pretty good. Half way through I pretended that I was down and out for the count. As I lay there her brother continued attacking and she kicked me straight in the face. Hurt pretty good, but all I could do was laugh. I had to stop the session and explain that there are certain moves we never use on the family members. How off is it now? If it was only a few clicks I wouldn't even worry. I have come to find that not everyone holds a rifle the same. People also see the sights differently. If you can zero it without gross adjustment than I would be wearing that thing out.

Indy, I know the mark you speak of. This is different. Hopefully this pic will post. As you can see it is about half way down on the case. Sorry for the crappy cell pic. It is faint but you can see it and it is around the hole case.

I cut a case open and there doesnt seem to be any sign of damage on the inside. I think the die is leaving the mark. Guess I could try one and examine it for signs of trouble.

Upon further inspection, just about every case has this mark. Some more than others. Some of this brass is brand new that I resized. I would hate to discard 300 rounds for this. Most of this is once fired or new.

Loading 223. I am no where near 5.56 pressure. The mark is not a crack. It is too consistent to be in my opinion. It is a perfect ring in the same spot on the cases that have it.

I should add that the ring is like a scratch. Almost like if it was made with a razor knife.

I have been reloading for a few years now, but I am still learning. I recently reloaded some 223. rounds and after I was done I noticed a very faint ring mid way up the case on some of these rounds. I can barely feel it with my finger nail. i don't know if this happened during resizing or If one of the rifles has a tight chamber and caused the ring. I have a good amount of them and I need to know if I should shoot them or pull them. Thanks, RF

Looking for suggestions. I know some about basic survival but want to improve upon my skill set. However my wife is new to stuff like this so I need something that is not over her head.

I respectfully disagree. Drilling an extra port rather than enlarging your ports will not gunck up anything. If you want your gun to run with factory equipment then sometimes you have to drill. By adding an extra port you are making you gun more efficient. Many S-12s have 4 ports.

Do it. I drilled mine along with a few other mods and it runs everything. I took my time with it, making sure I test fired after each mod. In the end I drilled one extra port and it solved the problem. It came with 3 ports so now I am at 4.

Howdy ya'll, I have had an auto plug for a long time, but just installed it today. It ran wichester universal without an adjustment. Is this the norm? Do I have to backdown the pressure or should I just keep rocking it how it is?
