  1. Deployments keep getting in the way of me completing my 21” Saiga 308. This is how far I got before my recent trip. I was looking for an affordable .308 and these get pretty good reviews as far as battle rifle accuracy and reliability go. I got the base rifle around 3 years ago when they could be had in the mid $400 range. The conversion was simple enough. The hardest part was the front end. As you may know, the FSB has a step inside of it that requires boring out so the front mounting pin can be moved back to the rear pin hole. The diameter of my barrel at the muzzled needed to be turned
  2. I have been watching the progress on these while waiting (im)patiently. Any chance you will offer these in a 3 or 4 pack with a small discount? Wpns Man
  3. My restoration project is pretty much along the same lines as yours. AR tube, MOE and a U.S. Palm grip. I finally completed the rear half of the process after waiting for Vltor to finally make some more collapsible stock tubes. The Vltor is the superior tube so don’t let the issue of the slight upward rake worry you. Some people get it, some don’t. I think it has more to do with manufacturing tolerances found among various AK’s than with any “fault” of Vltor. I did experience a slight tilt on mine and this is how I fixed it. Take a flat washer for a #10 sized machine screw, I think
  4. Thanks Deussne, I will consider this if the budget gets real tight. WpnsMan
  5. Thanks guys, That is exactly the information I was looking for. Deussue, I would appreciate any plans you have for the modifications. I have access to a milling machine if needed. oxyehho, Thanks for explaining both of those options. Still leaning towards the RSA as I like a good two stage around 4lbs for field use. I have put G2's in a couple standard AK's and while good, they normally feel like a single stage in my experience. While pretty standard and still in the planning stages, I am evaluating where to best spend my $ for the most benefit as my budget allows.
  6. Hello, New member here and my search foo must be lacking. I am planning on getting a Saiga .308 to convert into a Saigunov and want a nice trigger in it. Seems like the Dinzag modified G2's get good reviews as well as the RSA adjustable versions. I would prefer the RSA but am unsure of which one to order. I have seen some post of using the VEPR .308/Galil version and others using the standard version. RSA's site list the VEPR/Galil version for $10 more than the standard. So, to those that have a RSA FCG's in your Saiga .308's, which version are you using? If the standard ver
