  1. Oh, I know, I read the whole thing... but I didnt see where there was a definitive spring or hydraulic advisement.
  2. Mine eats Wolf and all different kinds of Bear. I buy cases at a time, and my Saiga has probably seen upwards of 2500 rounds through it. Since they are steel, I tend to worry about rifling loss and deteriorating accuracy, but so far everything is shits and giggles.
  3. I love my Saiga .308!! Especially due to my extensive mods! The list is extensive, so I will save you the reading with a thumbnail below. I had an argument about ammo sizes the other day. 5.52x45 v 7.62x39 v 7.62x51 After Penetration, cost, and weight were discussed, the argument shifted to recoil/rate of fire on semi automatic. Less recoil equals a higher rate of fire, and improved accuracy. That got me thinking that my double tap for the .308 Saiga is much slower than with my .223 M4. Something needs to be done, so that when all the talking ceases, I can bring results to the range.
  4. Bumpfires with 75rd drum mags... RPK Bumpfire M70AB2 Underfolder Bumpfire agreed, very easy.
  5. Sounds good on the drum mag.... I might be willing to sacrifice one of my Chinese drum mags in 7.62x39, so that you can have the back cover, winder, spring, and all the other pre fab goodies that would take ALOT of time to make.... I would only request that 1) if you dont see the project through, that the drum is returned to me, or what is left of the drum ... and/or 2) When you prototype is completed, I get to test it. I have a Bulgarian 75 and a Chinese 75 drum and havnt had any followers break. I guess paypal is still processing my payment to you for those steel mags?
  6. I saw that yesterday! I about bid on it. I made sure to bookmark the guy who is doing this custom. Will talk with him in the future...
  7. THIS Background The XM26 LSS was originally designed and developed by C-More Systems to meet the requirements of United States troops in Afghanistan for a lightweight less lethal and door breaching delivery system which would eradicate the need to carry an additional weapon such as a pump-action shotgun. The XM-26 Lightweight Shotgun System has been in production and development at the United States Army's Soldier Battle Lab since late 1990s. These shotguns are manufactured by the prominent C-More Systems company. The concept was to equip soldiers with lightweight accessory we
  8. Ok, while we are on this subject.... Is there a way I could throw a sawed off 12ga pump under my s-308 and utilize the picatinney rails for the attachment?
  9. Just sent payment for 4 mags (one 15rd and three 20rd) through paypal. Looking forward to some range time. Mike, have you given any thought to 75rd drum mags? I would imagine they would be significantly harder to fab than the low count mags. If you do try, i would love to test one for ya. I have a 100rd and a 75rd drum for my RPK, and I dream about what my saiga 308 would look like with that drum under her. I know it would add crazy weight, but I would rather be slightly encumbered than run out when I need 'em.
  10. I need a good sling, any suggestions?
  11. a pic that shows my red dot.... not at scout!! more like a battle rifle
  12. I'm so glad i actually found someone making steel mags for my 308. Hopefully, you have some 20s, 15s, and 10s left. PM sent!
