    Butt Pads

Technically speaking it fits the Bulgarian grenade launcher. Just happens to fit the Nato stocks both skeleton and solid. And yes it's all business and butt ugly until you fire about 75 slugs! It gets quite attractive after that.

    Front bead

Hi from Georgia! Mighty warm for November these days. Not complaining! Does anyone know the thread size of the front bead? I am thinking about a day-glo replacement bead and curious if I can do this. My gun has the sight right on the gas tube without the rail. It works great on my 'regular ' shotgun. Thanks

    Butt Pads

Get this on your gun. 2 sided tape inside. It fits the conversion stock just right.
  4. Yeah, that is Hogzilla! No that's not me. They recently exumed the creature, verified the size and tested the DNA. It's a pig! We will be close to the region where Hogzilla ran the woods. The low lying areas with alot of acorns are plowed a foot deep for acres. These things have multiple litters, can be hunted anytime day or night with no limit. We walked over a sow with babies in the fog one morning...and I had to throw away my britches. We scattered and luckily it went for my buddy. She broke off the attack and we decided discretion was the better part of valor in those low-vis cond
  5. 3" magnum 00 Buck in the 8 round magazine and a .45 sidearm is all I have against something like this. Heading down to the Altamaha River in S. Georgia in a few weeks to thin out the hogs in the swamp. Hopefully we may run into a few eatin' size. Yes I will use the Saiga for hunting this time. Real bushy conditions make this the perfect choice as a pump is slow and a semi-auto may jam, and these hunt back! Snake

    Slugfest

People assumed it's a 7.62x39 until it started belching red shotgun hulls. WTF?

    Slugfest

Wanted to finish the report on the Elite pg and stock mod on my Saiga 12. I took 2 5s and 2 8 round mags to the booth at the indoor range Saturday for a workout. They mandate slugs. The first shot was a bummer as it was set on 1. Reduced recoil doesn't operate the bolt. A quick spin to 2 and all is well. The shoot n see target was obliterated at 25 yards, just a rch low. Put the target on the bead instead of on top like an AR and took the middle out. Tried an inch diameter dot target and out she went 1 out of 5 at 25 yards. The muzzle brake worked well. The holes were quarter size. Ha
  8. I just got the low recoil slugs and will try everything on #1 since the ports have been opened .003. it's what they use in 3 gun matches.
  9. I'm in on the contribution and Team Saiga stuff. Stickers, decals, shirts, hats etc. Even the secret handshake.

    2 Round Mags

By the time I reload the Browning Light 12 with 3 I wouldn't have the clip off the Saiga yet. Then load 2 in there and one in the chamber, replace clip? I don't think it's practical, just a novelty in the game bird field.
  11. This pad is for the Nato size Bulgarian AK stock. It's really very small and reminds me of my Daisey Red Rider. It fits this and folders too with the strap on feature (don't go there). You can call K-Var for specific applications. I thought it was really the cat's ass on mine.

    2 Round Mags

Can someone tell me about these 2 round hunting mags? Do they hold 3? That would make it wrong for hunting with really 4 shell capacity in the gun. If they only hold 2 then is it too much of a pita to load for doves or ducks? Just want to maybe see the DNR guy's reaction to dove hunting with an AK 47.
  13. Dollar cost averaging. My mags are safely tucked away with the 'new' Saiga and I'm squared away. If they go to $25 great for everybody. I paid double. But that may be half in a year. Who cares. The AK action barking 9 in a row is priceless. And it's hilarious to open a package from Russia with all the customs forms, stamps and string. The thrill of the hunt.
  14. The recoil pad arrived from K-Var and fits the Bulgarian AK stock perfectly. It's made for the grenade launcher and is very impressive. It feels so right now! It has a leather strap for the folders too. Slip on with 2 sided tape and rock solid. Good at $20. Pictures coming soon. It's my favorite of the bunch hiding in the safe, definitely not just another AK 47. Bolt hold open safety lever allows 9 in the 8.....holy shiite!
  15. Found www.techarms.com claiming a good deal with 40 shotguns. Tried to call but can't leave a message. Probably e-mail is best. EDIT Wayne e-mailed back right away. He's got them for $619 converted. $649 with folding stock. I just left my ammo store-they have a new non-converted sporter for $599. Yikes. May have to stash one away as a curio, or come out rockin' with one in each hand if it hits the fan. Say hello to my little friends.
