Since the subject of Hi Caps for the Saiga .308 has been such a hot topic, I was wondering about "how capacity effects the natural balance of the rifle.
In '66 most Marines were being trained on M-14's. How many of you have actually held a long gun with 20 rounds of .308 for any period of time? If you have then the one thing which is noticeable is the weight. We practiced hours upon hours sighting in our rifles. Standing, sitting, kneeling, prone. We worked with the weight of a " full boat". I loved that rifle but it was heavy!
