Corbin-Thanks. I had heard of problems of rounds popping out of double stack mags due to recoil, and sure enough I had the same problem. This metal strip solves that problem, and is fully functional, but not real sightly. I am hoping that someday AGP , Surefire , SGM or maybe MDArms will make a mag dust cover / pop off cover. Surely there are enough Saiga 12 magazines out there and maybe the fit could be universal.

There are Kobras out there for sale, occasionally. Look on this forum, gunbroker, and if desparate, Ebay. There are a couple of retailers that have them, but most often they are out of stock. I emailed/contacted ALL of them. First response was always out of stock, but over a period of months I would get contacted by 1 or 2 of them when they had some back in.
