  1. I was reproducing three quarter inch groups a number times this day while trying to sight this rifle in and reproduce the half inch group. So I feel safe saying this gun is a three quarter inch gun since I could reproduce these groups. But I never thought an AK would be capable of this level of accuracy. And I know its not that I am gods gift to shooting, so I can't take much credit. It goes to Mark Krebs and his team who build some of the finest AKs on this earth. Sub inch aks don't grow on trees. But they do get produced by Mark.
  2. It was a sunny day about 50 digrees. The wind was blowing from the south east between 3 and 5 mph. It was shot with Wolf 124 grain I believe it was HP. I am not the most experinced bench shooter in the world but I have done enough to know how to do it. I was using front and rear sand bags and I feel it is important to point out the half inch group was fired from a cold bore first group of the day. I was not able to reproduce it after that but I was still shooting under one inch groups. I was sighting in a new scope and I elected to shoot 3 shot groups not thinking it would shoot so well. So I
  3. Today I benched my Krebs Custom, Enhanced Speedload Tactical. The first three shot group of the day was a half inch group. I could not believe my eyes when I saw it. I fired severl more groups as I was sighting in a new red dot. I could not reproduce the half inch again but did reproduce several more three quarter inch and a couple more one inch groups. I truely love this rifle and would highly recommend it to any one who is on the fence about wanting to spend that kind of mony. You will not be sorry.
  4. Also look at a site called Israeli Weapons. Those guys know how to make guns. But they aren't affraid to charge for them either. I have purchased a few things from them with nothing but good things to say.
  5. I have and use the recoil absorbing stocks on almost all my ak's. I love them and would highly recommend them. The Mako Group makes a good one. Check it out. Just pay attention to your parts count.
  6. I can shoot the worst crap ammo on earth and still hit minute of man at 500 yards. With a 16 inch barrel. And we are talking Trash ammo. Its not a tack driver but a man is in SERIOUS danger out to about 1000yards. I haven't shot much beyond that. With good ammo I could easily probably hit minute of man out to 1000yards. And I would like to point out that this is with good optics and a little time to get to know the rifle. I have put a couple thousand rounds down range with this rifle and I do a ton of long range shooting.
  7. I shot some crap arab brass cased ammo the other day and was minute of man out to 500 with it. With the occasional flier. And the ammo was absolute crap. You could feel and hear the difference in the report and recoil. EVERY round fed flawlessly.
  8. very nice black and evil, what forearm is that? and how much for it? http://www.krebscustom.com/PartsPages/KalashnikovParts.shtml Check here.
  9. Is that the mako stock with shock absorber? Does it work well? Works like a dream!
  10. I guess my rifle isnt that bad then. i was thinking it was a little to heavy for real world use. But i guess im not looking that bad. Thanks guys.
  11. My rifle is 8lbs unloaded, with a Vortex Strike Fire. I am looking for some weight comparisons as opposed to other rifles. My rifle is a Krebs Custom SLT that i added a folding recoil absorbing stock to. This is proving to be a heavy rifle. Im thinking of ditching the scope rail and going back to the original stock. It is beautiful but heavy. And i would say too heavy would be measured as too heavy to be carried on a normal patrol like a AR in Iraq.
