  1. With the " cheap" stuff going for such a high price, you might as well buy something like federal fusion 223.
  2. When I first got my saiga and it was not fired I had the same issue when the bolt lugs were not locked all the way. I babied it when hand cycling in beginning. If it happens again make sure the bolt is fully forward. Don't ride the carrier, let it slam home. Go shoot it.
  3. Nice work. Maybe show a clip of the guy shooting so we can see the stance of the shooter?
  4. I did the washer on hammer pin fix. Works great, had to sand the face of the washer so the fit was tight but didn't bind the hammer. It is now physically impossible for the BHO to clear the rail. Had to do some filling on the safety and slot the BHO to get it all back together. Also make sure your hammer face is center on the firing pin when done.
  5. Pull down slightly on the front of the hand guard. Near we're the screw you should have removed is located. Pull the front about an inch from the barrel, then wiggle the ass end out. Don't touch your "gas holes" until you master hand guard removal. You'll go blind.
  6. You can buy the base components and mix your own juice for even cheaper. I use totally wicked eliquid, but there are plenty of other retailers.
  7. I make rounds every night to make sure all doors and windows are locked. Then check that my firearms and flashlight are where I can find them in a dead sleep.
  8. If you have a retaining plate make sure it isn't dragging on the carrier. I had to shave a bit off the top near where the safety passes through. Don't know if it applies to you but?
  9. Gave the brush on a drill a shot, seemed to help. No longer catches fibers from a patch when I pass it through. I will put some slugs down range next time I'm out. Thanks for the advice.
  10. I put 100 rounds of bulk pack and 15 of buck through her. Think I need something more abrasive than plastic wad. Maybe some 600 grit on the end of a dowel?
  11. I just got done enlarging a three port Saiga to 3/32. Gun cycles great frm the hip now with federal bulk pack, kicking shells out a good three feet. They used to just kind of fall out before the mod. The problem I'm having is pieces of the wad are being sliced off and making their way into the gas block. Correct angle of ports was kept. I think there is a sharp edge in the barrel. Does any one have any good ideas to deburr the ports?
  12. Tim you were the only one who got the Atlas Shruged reference. Now you tell me you got your wife a pallet of scratch and dent tampons for an anniversary gift. Damnit man. I don't know if I should laugh or cry. Good on ya though I'd be sleeping on the couch.
  13. lolz, paint it pink, she will go ape shit.. I smell what your stepping in, but I cannot in good faith shoot a pink gun. Dammit I'm going to be shooting a pink gun. I want my balls back.
