  1. Guys can anyone help me out with 1 or 2 used Gunfixer Gas Plugs or a M.D. Arms V Plug. I need one and my buddy needs one, either brand is fine just need 2. They are out of stock everywhere right now. Email me if you can Thanks in advance
  2. going12220, Yes I can put some epoxy, Marinetex, or bedding compound over it but when they smack the ground nothing is going to hold up after a few trips to the ground. Can you post a pic or email me a pic of your modification to your magwell? That sounds like what I want to do! Thanks!
  3. Ok then that's reassuring since you guys have had your for a while. The mags just look like after a few drops on the ground (3 gunning) they will crack open at that split up top and have to be thrown away. Do the Surefire mags have the same issue splitting up top? I wonder? I would have to reinstall the magwell but the Surefire version if I were to switch over.
  4. For the JT Magwell I'm running into a problem. The front of the mags are splitting once the front tab is ground off. After a few uses (or many uses for that matter) are the mags going to fail??? The pics are attached.
  5. Yeah! I like that one. I'm gonna get it. Thanks
  6. I hate the idea of bird shot in a combat shotgun and the S12 agrees with me. I like 00 buck and the S12 loves it, never had a problem from round 1 with 00. And getting stuck borrowing that Win bulk pack from Wal Mart was a nightmare. But she runs now so all is well! I do plan to get the self cleaning puck just because it's a great concept. I want the charging handle but don't want to have to get it welded. I do believe the magwell is next. I am not a fan of not being able to load on the closed bolt. I am a veteran AR shooter and the mag release lever for this gun is hard enough to
  7. Well boys I took the new Saiga to the range today and ran 100 rounds of lo brass hi velocity 1300fps #7 's through it in addition to the other 25 Winchester bulk pack junk rounds and 25 00 & some slugs (50 total) I already had on the gun. I had problems 2 weeks ago when I shot the first match with this gun. It would not run lo brass bird shot except real heavy #4 shot. I thought I must have a gas port problem. Then I had to use Winchester bulk pack lo brass at that match due to buckshot being extremely reduced in all stages and that Winchester stuff SUCKS! I read in this forum that
  8. cmroles, You want the Krebs ghost rings. The HK sights which I have are tall. My buddy has the Krebs and they are like the factory sight plain which you can get a good tight cheek weld if that's your style.
  9. Can I have somebody's 5rnd mag spacer they don't need? I was going to try to cut down a 5 rounder for hunting but this spacer would save me the trouble. Anybody have one in the trash can they didn't throw away yet?
  10. Ha! just checked and it was Winchester value pack. My luck...
  11. Yeah my new Saiga won't run low brass either. I didn't care as I expected I would only shoot buck and a few slugs. WRONG! The match I just shot was all bird and buck. Man was I embarrased racking the bolt on each shot. After reading all these posts on "not cycling low brass" I am glad the fix can be just running 200 rounds or so through it. Off to Wal Mart!
  12. Here you go! For buckshot with my ImpMod choke on a 19in barrel it appears 1 complete revolution adjustment moves the impact 2inches at 25 yds. Buckshot velocity will determine your results. You need to buy the HK drum adjustment tool off gunbroker or from HK. Or else you'll need to grind down some needle nose pliers until the tips are small and skinny enough to fit down into the 2 slots inside the drum. HK rear sight link
  13. you need hk sight adjustment tool that fits inside rear drum. you hold drum and turn inside cylinder number of needed revolutions. i will post a link tomorrow for ya. gotta run now
  14. Yup, top of post centered in rear peep and placed center mass of target like your top pic.
  15. Hey I will cut that sucker down if Saturday at the match I am still inches low! I'll have the dremel in the car with the DC/AC converter ready to cut! It's not adjustable up front. The Tromix HK sights are MP5, HK31 etc sights. Its a post inside a circular hood that slides in left to right like a coin in a soda machine. I adjusted the rear now what should be 8inches up now since this post. I just hope I am correct 4 revolutions with the sight tool equals aprox 8inches at 25yds.
