  1. I want to remove the scope rail from my Saiga 12.Pretty useless to have on a shotgun. My question is,do you think its critical as far as adding strength and rigidity to the receiver?I wouldn't be worried with any other AK,but with the 12 gauge it seems like it asking alot of that sheet metal receiver. Thanks
  2. Installing a BG from CSS.Do I push it all the way forward so it contacts the inside of the trunion,or have it a little closer to the magazine?Gregg isn't answering the phone at CSS today...
  3. Gonna do a bullet guide install and was wondering if anyone has had problems with theirs coming loose or stripping out.How about welding it in?
  4. I welded a little stop on the right side trigger leg.Rock solid stop, and since it's internal,You can never tell it was ever a problem.
  5. I received the new spring yesterday. No rust.Time will tell how it works, but AGP seemed eager to take care of it.Also they paid for return shipping of the shattered spring.I'll give it another try...
  6. Opened a fairly new(3 months-15 loadings) AGP magazine this AM to find the spring broken into 11 pieces. Some rust powder as well.AGP will replace the spring, but it does leave an impression.
  7. Fire one shot, then take the top cover off to see if the hammer is reset. There can be interference between the hammer and any bolts/nuts you used to install the trigger guard. You can check this at home by dry firing the weapon and, while holding the trigger down, cycle the action and see if the hammer stays back.
  8. I saw there was an extensive thread on calguns on this topic
  9. Codebrown,I have used the Lee 1oz slugs. The load info that comes on the instructions is great and will work in the drum fine.W AA12 wads over Herco or blue-dot will get you 1590-1690fps.
  10. I got a 1oz slug mold from Lee precision for $27.00.Had a pile of free lead,so I went to town casting slugs. My local trap range lets me have all the hulls I want for free,so all I gotta buy is powder, wads, and primers. For around 16-18 cents a pop I'm pushing slugs at 1690 fps. What fun....
  11. I'm sure you all know it already, but just had to give Gregg props for his customer service.Above and beyond. Thanks!
  12. I saw a guy with an all black T shirt that had the Saiga logo(weird writing with arrow pointing up)on the front.Where do I get it?
