I don't have the small aperture for the rear sight, lost it. I always just used the large. $75 shipped USPS Priority.

I use Quaker State motor oil on everything. Not really. Tetra gun grease on the rails and Slip 2000 or CLP or whatever oil is on hand for everything else. CLP seems to evaporate though.

I sent mine to Rose Action Sports and had the barrel cut and internal threads cut for Rem choke tubes. It cost $100 including shipping both ways. I had it back in one week. He goes by GunCat here and AR15.com where he advertises.

I use a Russian AK sling with the clasp replaced with the more quiet leather off a cheap Chinese SKS sling. African carry.

Hold your gun upside down and insert a 5rd mag while looking down into the mag release, that will give you an idea how these mags latch. Then just file on the bottom angle of the plastic that the latch grabs. I just used a disposable finger nail file on mine. Remove a little at a time then check it.

It may take some minor fitting with a file. Somewhere I read about fitting a factory mag and thought it was in the manual but I just looked and didn't see it. I had to file my MD drum to get it to lock in. No big deal.

The guy probably gave $80 new. Since it's used he should be asking $65.

I had some work done on my gun and they replaced the original with their own style without my knowledge. I've given up on getting it back soon. If I get it back then I'll have a spare.
